Apart from tiger, this park has a number of other wild animals like Indian leopard, Nilgai, Wild boar, Sambar, Rhesus macaque, and Mugger Crocodile and soon, it has 539 species of flowering plants and medicinal plants along with wide varieties of birds that attract the visitors. A Huge fort on top of the national park hills is another tourist attraction. This national park is named after the fort the ruins of ancient times making Ranthambhore National Park a blending of nature, wildness, and history. This park is like a lot of water bodies which give relief to animals during summer.

Tiger Safari

At the Ranthambore National Park at Sawai Madhopur district, you cant walk alone as tigers is venturing freely. The only safari in park vehicles is allowed not own vehicles Safari starts from 6.30 to 2.30, safari time is 3 hours. They have 20 seaters open top canter and 6 seaters open-top gypsy. safari price range from 900 to 1400 rupees per person based on the vehicle and for foreigners 2000 to 2500 per person.your not allowed to carry any eating items so make sure you have food prior.

Arriving at Ranthambore National Park

The nearest airport to the Sawai Madhopur is Jaipur that 160 km. The nearest railway station is Sawai Madhopur railway station which has trains from Jaipur, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kota. The railway station is 11km away from the park. You can reach the park through either a local bus or a taxi as the frequency of buses is lesser, good to hire a taxi.

Ranthambore Fort

This fort lies in the tiger reservoir which is situated high up on the hills. To visit the fort no need to buy a ticket even though it needs to go from the national park.

Padam Lake

Padam lake is the largest water body present in the Ranthambore National Park. Here animals come for drinking water in the morning, some for hunting which makes the best place for wildlife photography. In fact, Monsoon reason is the best for photography as lotus blooms during that it.

Kachida Valley

This valley is located inside the park only through safari you can reach here. Thus You can see panthers here as they won’t leave this valley and have marked this as their territory. To avoid other animals(tigers and wild bears)

Ganesh Mandir

This famous temple yearly crowed with many devotees the temple is located hilltop.
