Day By Day Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrival at Srinagar

In this 5 days Kashmir honeymoon package we will drive you on an amazing snow- paradise journey. Immediately you arrive at the Srinagar Airport, you are taken to the houseboat. Most visitors to Kashmir always have fond memories of the exquisite ride on the waters when they get to the houseboat. Nothing is as memorable as a ride inside one of the best designed boats of all times. This is one perfect experience a visitor here should not miss for any reason.

In the evening, the visitor will enjoy a romantic Shikara ride on Dal Lake. At night, take a rest at Srinagar.
DAY 2

Srinagar

Upon checking out from the houseboat, you will be transferred to your hotel at Srinagar. This is the best time to savor all the nice experiences Srinagar has on offer. Some places to visit during the memorable tour are; Mughal Gardens Chashmashahi and Nishadand Shalimar (the latter is closed on Fridays). The gardens have a rich history as well. They are the places the Mughal Emperors relaxed with their queens when not busy with varying tasks. Presently, they are adored picnic spots for families and lovers.

Another spot not to miss out on is the famous Lord Shiva –Shankaracharya Temple. It is located at the summit and overlooks the town of Srinagar. The temple has its history traced to 200BC and the current structure possibly can be traced to the 9th century AD.

During the rest of the day, visitors can take time off for personal activities or just for relaxation. One activity most visitors enjoy is shopping for papier-mache items like jewelry boxes, mirror frames, intricately curved walnut wood furniture among others. Some more items include woolen shawls, stone jewelry boxes and accessories. At night, the visitor takes a rest at Srinagar.
DAY 3

Srinagar Excursion to Gulmarg (52 Kms / Approximately 2 Hrs Drive)

Through the 5 days Kashmir tour package we will take the visitors to Gulmarg. This is one beautiful place in Kashmir that receives plenty of visitors. The name literally means; ‘meadow of flowers’. Its original name was Gaurimarg which was obtained from the Shiva Coast. Gulmarg cuts itself as a beautiful destination with a prime location. It is close to Srinagar, making it a premier hill resort in the country.

After the tour of Gulmarg, the visitor can take the day off for a deserved rest or choose to ride in the Gondola as per own arrangement. Alternatively, the visitor may take a stroll in the city to admire the breathtaking scenery of the beautiful city.
DAY 4

Srinagar

This day is destined for own activities. A visitor can go shopping at the local market on their own. It can also be used to explore areas not visited previously within the city.
DAY 5

Depart Srinagar

Today the visitor bids farewell to the ‘Romantic City” as he/she is taken to the airport for an onward journey.

Transportation/ Sightseeing – is by a non-air-conditioned Indica or Tavera or similar as per arrangement. Vehicle provided is not on disposal basis but rather, per the itinerary.
