Day By Day Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrival at Haridwar
Guests arriving at Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station are received by our representative and transferred to a premium category hotel by private Toyota Innova Crysta or comparable vehicle. Freshen up, then step out for the evening Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a fitting opening to the yatra. Return for a Sattvic dinner and rest. Our tour coordinator briefs the group on the days ahead, altitude notes, and packing adjustments.

DAY 2
Haridwar to Barkot
Approximately 210 km, 7 hours by road. Post breakfast, drive to Barkot through the winding Mussoorie route. The road offers glimpses of the Yamuna valley and pine-covered ridges near Kempty Fall. Reach Barkot by evening, check into a premium hotel, and rest for the Yamunotri leg the next morning.

DAY 3
Barkot to Yamunotri Darshan and back
An early start takes the group to Janki Chatti, from where the 6 km trek to Yamunotri begins. Palki or pony support is included so no guest is pushed to walk. At Yamunotri, offer prayers to Goddess Yamuna, take a dip in the thermal springs at Surya Kund, and prepare divine offerings in the hot spring waters. Descend to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot for the night.

DAY 4
Barkot to Uttarkashi or Harsil
Approximately 100 km, 4 hours. Reach Uttarkashi by afternoon and visit the Vishwanath temple. Guests on the Harsil variant continue further, staying at a heritage-style resort in what locals call the Switzerland of Uttarakhand. Overnight in either town depending on room availability and group preference.

DAY 5
Uttarkashi to Gangotri Darshan and back
Drive to Gangotri along the Bhagirathi valley. The Gangotri temple, situated at 3,100 metres, honours the source stream of the Ganga. After darshan and a moment at the Bhagirathi Shila, drive back to Uttarkashi for overnight. Guests who prefer a slower pace may stay at Harsil and shorten the drive.

DAY 6
Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
Approximately 220 km, 8 hours. The longest driving day. The route traces the Tehri Dam reservoir, crosses Devprayag, and moves through Rudraprayag before climbing to Guptkashi. A brief photo halt at Devprayag lets guests see the confluence that forms the Ganga. Reach Guptkashi by evening, check into a valley-view hotel, and rest for the Kedarnath approach.

DAY 7
Guptkashi to Kedarnath and back
Two formats are available. On the road-plus-trek option, drive to Sonprayag and Gaurikund, then trek 16 km to Kedarnath with pony or palki support. On the helicopter option, board at the Phata or Sirsi helipad for a short flight. Both routes reach the shrine of Lord Shiva, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, set against snowfields. Darshan complete, return to Guptkashi by evening.

DAY 8
Guptkashi to Joshimath
Approximately 180 km, 7 hours. Drive through Ukhimath, Chopta, and Chamoli to Joshimath. The route runs alongside the Mandakini and later the Alaknanda. Reach Joshimath by evening, visit the Narsingh temple where the winter idol of Badrinath rests, and settle in for the night.

DAY 9
Joshimath to Badrinath Darshan and back
An early drive of about 45 km takes the group to Badrinath. Bathe at Tapt Kund, offer prayers at the Vishnu shrine, and attend the Maha Abhishek Pooja if pre-registered. Take a short trip to Mana village, the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border, and see Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul. Return to Joshimath by evening.

DAY 10
Joshimath to Haridwar or Rishikesh, Departure
Post breakfast, drive back to Haridwar or Rishikesh through Rudraprayag and Devprayag. Reach in the late evening for departure to Delhi or your onward destination. Drop-off at Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station concludes the tour.
