Day By Day Itinerary
DAY 1
Chennai to Ahmedabad, Sabarmati and Old City Walk
Morning IndiGo or Air India departure from Chennai reaches Ahmedabad by 12:30 p.m. Our representative meets you at the arrivals kerb holding a Memorable India placard, transfers to the hotel in the Ashram Road or SG Highway belt, and after a short rest the afternoon opens with a Sabarmati Ashram visit followed by a heritage walk through the Pol houses of the old city, where 14th-century wooden havelis still stand along narrow lanes. Sunset at the Sabarmati Riverfront with the evening cable car ride at the Atal Bridge. A first-day gujarat tour from chennai closes with a Gujarati thali dinner at Agashiye or Vishalla, depending on hotel location. Overnight Ahmedabad.

DAY 2
Ahmedabad to Bhavnagar via Lothal and Velavadar
Post-breakfast drive south to Lothal, the 4500-year-old Harappan dock town where the world’s earliest known tidal dockyard still holds its brick foundation, then continue through Velavadar Blackbuck National Park for a short grassland stop and a chance to spot the endemic Indian wolf. Lunch is at a highway dhaba near Bagodara. Reach Bhavnagar by evening. Takhteshwar Temple sunset stop if time allows, with a Gandhi Smriti museum visit if the drive stays on schedule. Overnight Bhavnagar. Driving time approximately 6 hours with stops, and this is one of the longest single-day drives on the entire gujarat package from chennai, deliberately front-loaded so the rest of the circuit stays relaxed.

DAY 3
Palitana Climb and Onward to Diu
A 5:30 a.m. start for Palitana beats the mid-morning sun on the climb. Doli service or foot climb up 3800 steps to the 863 marble Jain temples clustered on Shatrunjaya Hill takes about four hours round trip; palanquin bearers are hired at the base for guests who prefer not to walk. Photography is not permitted inside the sanctum group, but the panoramic Kathiawar view from the summit terrace is worth the climb. Late breakfast at the base and lunch in Palitana town. Post-lunch drive to Diu via Talaja and the coastal road, roughly 4.5 hours with a chai stop at Mahuva. Check into the seafront hotel by evening. Sunset walk at Nagoa Beach followed by grilled seafood or a Portuguese-style dinner at a beach shack. Overnight Diu.

DAY 4
Diu Exploration and Drive to Somnath
Morning at Diu Fort with its Portuguese-era cannons still facing the Arabian Sea, followed by St Paul’s Church and the underground Naida Caves carved by centuries of quarrying. A short seafood lunch at Nagoa or a pure vegetarian option in Diu town depending on the group. Post-lunch drive along the coast to Somnath, roughly 3.5 hours through Una and Kodinar. Check in at the seafront hotel, freshen up, and reach the Somnath temple for the 7 p.m. sound-and-light show narrated by an Amitabh Bachchan voiceover, followed by the evening aarti at the Bhalka Tirth. Overnight Somnath.

DAY 5
Somnath Darshan and Drive to Dwarka via Porbandar
Morning darshan at Somnath, the first of the twelve Jyotirlingas, is unhurried before 8 a.m. because the mid-morning crowd from Ahmedabad tour groups only builds after 10. Post-breakfast drive to Dwarka with a scheduled stop at Porbandar to see Kirti Mandir, Mahatma Gandhi’s birthplace, and the nearby Sudama Mandir. A brief coastal viewpoint stop at Madhavpur beach. Reach Dwarka by early evening in time for the Dwarkadhish evening aarti at 7:30 p.m. Attending the 6:30 a.m. Mangla Aarti next morning is optional and warmly recommended. Overnight Dwarka.

DAY 6
Dwarkadhish, Nageshwar, Bet Dwarka and Drive to Jamnagar
Early Dwarkadhish darshan before 8 a.m. avoids the tour-bus rush, then a 15 km drive north to Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve, followed by Rukmini Devi temple and the drive to Okha jetty. A 20-minute motorboat crossing reaches Bet Dwarka island, where the Krishna temple and the Hanuman Dandi shrine are the two main halts before the return boat. Lunch back on the mainland at Okha. Afternoon drive to Jamnagar for the overnight halt, roughly 2.5 hours through Khambhalia. Evening at Lakhota Lake with a walk around the fort island and the local Jamnagar bandhani market for those who want to shop for tie-dye textiles. Overnight Jamnagar.

DAY 7
Jamnagar to Bhuj
Spend the whole day at one of the most sacred Jain temples, the PalitFull day drive to Bhuj via the Little Rann edge, approximately 5.5 hours with a highway lunch break at Samakhiali. The landscape shifts through the drive from Saurashtra scrub to the salt-marsh flats of the Rann, and a short photo stop at the Surajbari bridge across the Gulf of Kutch marks the crossover into Kutch district. Reach Bhuj by early evening and check into the heritage or premium property. Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal quick visits if time permits, both are 15 minutes from the hotel. Kutch Museum next to Hamirsar Lake is open until 6 p.m. and worth 40 minutes if the sun is still up. Overnight Bhuj.ana located on the Shatrunjaya hill. There are about 863 temples having intricate marble carvings. Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8
White Rann Full Day
Morning at the Kutch craft villages of Nirona and Bhujodi, where Rogan art painting and traditional block-print weaving are demonstrated by artisan families whose crafts have been recognised by UNESCO. A short stop at Ajrakhpur adds a mud-resist textile workshop. Late afternoon drive to the White Rann viewpoint at Dhordo, roughly 80 km from Bhuj. Sunset on the salt flats catches the horizon turning gold before the moon rises, cultural evening at the Rann Utsav tent city if travelling in season includes Kutchi folk music and a Sindhi Bhitshah dance performance, moonrise walk on the salt is unforgettable on a full-moon night.
