Welcome to the Rajasthan Heritage Tour, a timeless journey through India’s most remarkable state, where every palace whispers a tale and every desert breeze hums with legend. Over the course of 16 enriching days, this Rajasthan Tour Package invites you to step into a world of architectural wonder, vibrant culture, desert adventure, and royal hospitality. From the regal charm of Delhi to the romantic allure of Udaipur, from the golden hues of Jaisalmer to the sacred serenity of Pushkar, this itinerary captures the very essence of a Rajasthan Heritage Tour.

Your journey begins in the capital city of Delhi, where old-world monuments stand shoulder to shoulder with bustling markets and tree-lined avenues. Stroll through Mughal marvels like the Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar, then dive into the sensory overload of Chandni Chowk. It is a fitting gateway into India, modern yet deeply anchored in its past.

Next, you will head to the Shekhawati region, visiting Mandawa, known for its elaborately painted havelis that transform narrow lanes into open-air museums. This town offers a glimpse into the affluent past of Marwari merchants, making it a key stop on any Rajasthan Fort and Palaces Tour.

In Bikaner, you will explore the majestic Junagarh Fort, royal Lalgarh Palace, and even visit a camel breeding farm, the only one of its kind in Asia. The city’s spicy street food and intricate Jharokhas (stone-carved balconies) add flavour and finesse to your desert encounter.

Further west, the Golden City of Jaisalmer awaits. Rising dramatically from the Thar Desert, its sandstone fort, tranquil Gadisar Lake, and ancient Jain temples exude a medieval charm. You’ll ride camels into the shifting sand dunes of Sam, dine under the stars, and watch folk artists perform beneath a moonlit sky, a soul-stirring Rajasthan Desert Tour experience.

Your journey continues through the rustic beauty of Manwar and the royal tranquillity of Luni, both ideal for immersive village tours and heritage stays. Then it’s upward to Mount Abu, the state’s only hill station, where cool breezes and marble-carved Dilwara Temples offer a refreshing pause.

In Udaipur, romance takes centre stage. With its glittering lakes, floating palaces, and sunset boat rides on Lake Pichola, the city lives up to its nicknamed as Venice of the East. Do not miss the regal City Palace, serene Fateh Sagar Lake, and cultural centre Shilpgram, where artisans breathe life into traditional crafts.

Spirituality takes the lead in Pushkar, one of the oldest pilgrimage towns in India, known for its sacred lake and the rare Brahma Temple. From there, you journey to Samode, where the ornate Samode Palace charms with royal elegance and mirrorwork halls.

In Jaipur, the Pink City, you will scale the heights of Amber Fort, marvel at the astronomical genius of Jantar Mantar, and shop for vibrant textiles and gemstones in buzzing bazaars. Finally, the tour closes with a day in Agra, home to the magnificent Taj Mahal, a symbol of eternal love and a jewel in your India Rajasthan Tour.

From forts and palaces to temples and dunes, this 16-day Rajasthan holiday package delivers a rich, colourful, and unforgettable slice of India. Come for the architecture, stay for the soul, Rajasthan is not just a destination, it is a legacy.

While the days can be sunny and warm especially in desert areas like Jaisalmer and Bikaner the nights can be surprisingly cool. In hill stations like Mount Abu, evenings get chilly.
  • Cultural Etiquette – It is advised to remove your shoes before entering temples as Rajasthan is deeply rooted in its cultural traditions. When visiting religious sites such as the Dilwara Temples or Pushkar’s Brahma Temple, modest attire is encouraged.
  • Camera Ready – It is advised to check for photography charges or restrictions at monuments like the City Palace in Udaipur or Junagarh Fort in Bikaner.
  • Camel Safari Tips – It is to be noted that for the camel safari in Jaisalmer, do wear comfortable clothes and carry a scarf or bandana to shield against dust.
  • Shopping Local – It is to be noted that Rajasthan shops have souvenirs from blue pottery in Jaipur, miniature paintings in Udaipur, to tie-dye textiles in Jodhpur and handcrafted silver in Pushkar.
  • Cuisine – It is to be noted that if you are not used to spice, let the kitchen know. Do try the famous Dal Baati Churma at least once during your tour.

  • Responsible Travel – Please respect local customs, avoid single-use plastics, and engage with local guides and artisans.

Best time to visit Amazing Rajasthan Tour

Rajasthan, with its diverse landscapes and heritage cities, offers something unique throughout the year — but the ideal time to visit is during the winter months, from October to March.

October to March (Peak Season): These months offer pleasant weather, making it perfect for sightseeing, desert safaris, and exploring the forts and palaces without the scorching heat. Festivals like Diwali, Pushkar Camel Fair, and Desert Festival also take place during this time, adding a vibrant cultural flavour to your trip.

April to June (Summer): While temperatures can soar above 45°C in some cities, hill stations like Mount Abu remain comfortable. This season sees fewer tourists and great deals on accommodations.

July to September (Monsoon): Monsoon brings a refreshing change, especially in Udaipur and Mount Abu, where the landscape turns lush. However, heavy rains in certain areas might restrict travel. Ideal for budget travellers and offbeat experiences.

Travel Tip: If you are a photography lover or enjoy folk culture, plan your trip around local festivals and fairs. Pushkar Fair in November and Jaisalmer’s Desert Festival in February are visual and cultural feasts.
