Guwahati, Shillong, Kaziranga, Guwahati
Day 01: Gauwahati - Shillong
On arrival at Guwahati, you will be transferred by road to Shillong, the picturesque town at a high altitude of 1496m. After we reach Shillong, the entire day is at leisure to explore the town or go shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Shillong
Today, we head to Cherrapunjee, a lovely town that is known for its limestone caves, orange coloured honey, dense forests and its proud Khasi traditions and culture. We visit the Burra Bazaar or the Idew Market where you can browse through the souvenirs and collectables. We retire for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Shillong - Kaziranga
We start off early today and head for Kaziranga, home to the incredible reserve that has to its credit, conservation success stories of several endangered animals. On arrival, we check into the hotel and rest overnight
Day 04: Kaziranga National Park
Wake up early for an adventurous day at the reserve. We start off with an amazing elephant ride around the park, which will also give you the opportunity to get a closer look at some of the reserves' residents. Get to watch the single horned rhino and other endangered exotic animals in the wild. After the elephant ride, we tour the land on the faster 4 wheel drive followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Kaziranga - Guwahati
Today we bid adieu to Kaziranga and head back to Guwahati, via road. On arrival, you will be assisted to a hotel after which the entire day is at leisure. Situated at the southern banks of the river Brahmaputra, Guwahati is one place worth exploring. A glimpse of the north eastern states of India, Guwahati has loads to offer in terms of shopping, adventure or plain simple sightseeing. After the eventful day, we retire for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Guwahati departure
You are transferred to the airport or railway station where we bid you farewell and a safe onward journey.
