Andaman Port Blair Tour
Floating in splendid isolation, east of the Indian mainland, is the archipelago (archeological find) of 572 emerald islands, islets and rocks known as the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Andaman & Nicobar, the Emerald Islands, consisting of two island group lies between the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea. The topography of the islands is hilly and abounds in evergreen forests. The sandy beaches on the edge of meandering coastline are fringed with coconut - palms that sway to the rhythm of the sea.
Port Blair is the classic, small but picturesque town which is the capital of Andaman and Nicobar islands off the east coast of India. The Cellular jail, Samudrika Marine museum, Anthropological museum, The Zoo and forest and fishery museums all have something unique to offer. The superb beaches and fascinating marine life on the reefs coupled with the opportunities you get for water sports, bird watching of fishing makes Port Blair one of the most interesting and enchanting tourist destinations in the country. The records at the site museum and a 'death house' bring tears to one's eyes. The islands were called 'Kalapani'-islands with 'black water', water tinted with the blood of those who would have India free.

DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrive Port Blair
Arrival to Port Blair Airport followed by transfer to the hotel. After check-in to the hotel take a rest for few hours and take your lunch. After lunch take a trip to Port Blair, Cellular Jail and then to the light and sound show. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Port Blair - Havelock
Early morning transfer to Havelock by 06:00 Hrs ferry. Morning trip to Radha Nagar beach, this beach is considered to be the one of the best beaches of the world by world tourism organization. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Havelock - Port Blair
Return to Port Blair as per the availability of ferry tickets. During day time you can carry out some shopping around the city. Sea Shells are some thing unique you could carry from the Island. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Port Blair
After breakfast transfer to Water Sports Complex. Embark on a Three Island Cruise, visit to the Ross Island, Viper Island, and the North Bay Coral Island. Named after marine Surveyor Sir Daniel Ross, Ross Island was the Headquarters for the Panel settlement for nearly 80 Years. A well planned township away from the prisoners. After a 2 Hrs trip to Ross Island proceed towards the North Bay Coral island, this is the nearest point around Port Blair you can witness some underwater coral, either through Glass Bottom Boats are by Snorkeling, in the last leg of the day. Proceed towards the Viper Island, named after Archibald Blair's vessel, The Viper, was a places where hard core Prisoners where Convicted before the construction of Cellular Jail. The trip starts at 09:00 Hrs in the Morning and Finishes by 05:00 Hrs in the evening. Transfer back to Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Port Blair
After 3 Days of Sun, sea and the Historical visits, today will be a day to discover the city. Visit the Anthropological museum, this is a tribal museum devoted to the tribes of Andaman, one of the interesting part of Andaman Island is that, like the cosmopolitan culture of the urban population, these tribes are also of different origin. In one hour trip you will witness a true human living in harmony with Nature. We will proceed further to another point, The Chatham Saw Mill (Is considered to be the oldest saw mill in Asia). Even through due to deforestation policy, the amount of timber sawed has reduced, but you could understand easily how it is done. On finishing this half day tour, lunch on own and rest for a while to go on to Carboyn's Cove Beach. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Depart Portblair
Transfer to Airport for your onward journey.
