Bhutan also known as 'the Last Shangri-La' and 'Land of the Peaceful Thunder Dragon' is a landlocked state perched in The Great Himalayas between China and India. Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan is the smallest capital and is the only capital in the world having no traffic lights. It is located in the fertile valley traversed by the Wangchhu River at a height of 8000 feet. It is the home to the Judiciary, the Royal Government and the revered Bhutanese Royal Family.
Trangso is situated at the centre of Bhutan and is known as the royal family's ancestral home. The most famous tourist spot is the Trongsa Dzong, the secular and religious centre, an impregnable fortress. The town had proved to be delightful, not just for nature lovers, but also the ones who love shopping.
Bumthang, located at an altitude of 2600 meters is well known as the spiritual heartland of Bhutan, since it houses some of the oldest Buddhist temples. The place encompassing the four major valleys namely the Tang, Ura, Chhume and Choskhor is surrounded by heavenly apple grooves.
Punakha is famous for its benign climate which is perfect for fruit trees to flourish which complement the snow-crested Himalayan Mountains in the backdrop.
Paro is a town located in western Bhutan in the Paro valley and is well known for the rich history it preserves. With a population of just over 30,000, this rapidly growing town is a centre for all the major activities in the valley.

Paro, Thimphu, Trongsa, Bumthang, Punakha
Day 01: Paro - Thimphu
Arrival at Paro, where you will be greeted by a representative of the Memorable India Group, followed by transfer to Thimphu and check in at the hotel. Paro is counted among the most spectacular valleys of Bhutan and is the second most popular tourist destination. The scenic beauty, the wooded villages and the landscapes of this town are bound to leave tourists mesmerised. Spend the rest of the day leisurely, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Thimphu
A visit to the BBS Tower in the morning to enjoy the beautiful aerial view of Thimphu Valley followed by visit to the paper factory, Memorial Chorten, Anim Dratshang, National Library and the Mini Zoo. A visit to Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang, Handicrafts Emporium and School of Art and Craft in the afternoon, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Thimphu - Trongsa
Transfer to the ancestral house of the Royal Family of Bhutan-Trongsa early morning. A visit to Pelela Pass and Wangdue Phodrang, on the way to Trongsa. Visit to Ta Dzong and Trongsa Dzong in the afternoon followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Trongsa - Bumthang
Transfer to Bumthang in the morning followed by a visit to the Jambey Lhakhang, Jakar Dzong and Kurjey Lhakhang. Stay at the hotel, overnight.
Day 05: Bumthang - Punakha
Transfer to Punakha and an en route visit to Wangdiphodrang Dzong followed by overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Punakha - Paro
A visit to the Punakha Dzong in the morning, followed by transfer to Paro. Spend the rest of the day leisurely and stay at the hotel, overnight.
Day 07: Paro
This morning we head to visit the Durugyel Dzong better known as the Fort of Drupka Victory followed by a visit to the Taktsang Monastery, better known as the "Tiger's Nest". Visit to the National Museum having some of the best and finest Thankha Paintings, located in the watchtower and Paro Dzong followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Depart Paro
Depart from Paro after transfer from the hotel to the airport.
