We tour the majestic plains of the south where one can enjoy the chic urban lifestyle of Bangalore and bask in the solace and peaceful valleys of Ooty. We start our tour with Bangalore, where one can enjoy the unique blend of a modern, urban holiday with the cultural and traditions aspects of the city. From the city that personifies, the ideas of east meeting the west – Bangalore, to the serene valleys of Ooty where nature unravels itself andfinally a glimpse of the busy streets of the textile hub of India – Coimbatore, we tour from the majestic to ultra – modern south India.

    Day By Day Itinerary

    • DAY 1

      Bengaluru

      You will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to the hotel. The afternoon is reserved to tour the Garden City of India. Known as the Pensioner’s Paradise, this beautiful city is laden with green patches and serene hideouts. We tour a popular garden – the Lal Baugh Botanical Gardens after which we head for the 16th century Bull Temple and post that, take a drive through the roads of Bengaluru to browse through some architectural monuments; the Vidhan Saudha for example. We retire to the hotel for an overnight stay.

      Bengaluru - Chikmagalur

      We head for Chikmagalur, the coffee epicentre of India. It is also known for its hill stations. We stay overnight at hotel.

      Chikmagalur - Mysore

      Today you might want to keep your cameras ready as we head to see the artistic temples of Hoysala at Belur and Halebid, which is close by.We later travel for the Sandalwood City of India – Mysore. En route, we shall visit Sravanbelagola, a monolith statue that overlooks the district of Hassan. After we reach Mysore, we retreat to hotel for an overnight stay.

      Mysore

      We start off early to visit the ornate and legendary Mysore Palace, which is still the official residence of the royal family of Mysore – the Wodeyars. We later head to Chamundi Hills for a panoramic view of the city and on our way back, we shall stop to see the Nandi Bull before returning to the city. Reserved for the afternoon is a visit to the beautiful Hoysala Temple at Somnathpur. We retire for an overnight stay at the hotel.

      Mysore - Nagarhole

      Today we head to the see the majestic and splendid summer palace of Tipu Sultan in Srirangapatnam. We later continue our onward journey to Nagarhole National Park, also known as the Rajiv Gandhi National Park. Known for its rich display of nature, the Reserve offers a picture perfect backdrop for watching tigers, elephants, Indian bison, deer and other animals. But tonight we retire for an overnight stay at the hotel.

      Nagarhole

      We rise early and head for the Reserve to witness untamed nature at its best. You can choose between a boat, jeep or an elephant back to tour the reserve. Overnight stay at the hotel.

      Nagarhole - Ooty

      We travel via road to Ooty, the Queen of Hill Stations. After checking into the hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure for exploring the picturesque valleys of Udagamandalam. Overnight stay at the hotel.

      Ooty

      Today we explore Ooty stating from the highest peak of southern India, Doddabetta. After a breath taking view of the city below, we head to the Botanical Gardens which were laid in 1847. We later head to the Lake that gives the hill station its name, for a fun filled boat ride. We retire for an overnight stay at the hotel

      Otty - Coimbatore

      After a fun filled day in Ooty, we bid the town adieu on the toy train or the Nilgiri Mountain Railway, a UNESCO declared World Heritage Site. We head to Coimbatore where we see you off for your onward journey to Bengaluru / Delhi.
