Best time to go for Kerala Tour Packages

Winter (October to March) is the most popular season for visiting Kerala. The weather is pleasant and ideal for sightseeing, cruising on houseboats, trekking through plantations, and relaxing at the beach. This period also coincides with major festivals like Thrissur Pooram and Christmas, offering a vibrant cultural atmosphere. Munnar, Thekkady, and Wayanad are especially enjoyable with clear skies and cool evenings.

Monsoon (June to September) transforms Kerala into a lush green wonderland. While heavy rains may affect beach visits and transport, this is considered the best time for Ayurvedic treatments, as the body’s pores are open and more receptive to herbal oils. For those who love solitude and misty views, the hills of Munnar and waterfalls of Athirapally are ethereal during this time.

Summer (April to May) brings warmer temperatures, especially in lowland areas like Alleppey and Kochi. However, hill stations like Munnar and Thekkady remain cooler and are a great escape from the heat. It is also a good time for budget travellers since accommodations are less expensive. If you enjoy photography, summer light is great for capturing landscapes, wildlife, and temple architecture.
