Day 01: Arrive Bhubaneswar
Our 12 days Odisha tribal tour package starts with your arrival at Bhubaneswar airport. You will be able to meet our representative at the airport and he will take you to the hotel. Get refreshed and then, we will begin imploring Odisha by going to some temples around Bhubaneswar. You have the chance to visit Lingaraj Temple, Dhaulagiri, Rajarani Temple, Parashurameshvara, Mukteshwara Temple and Vaital Deul Temple.
We will come back to the hotel for Overnight stay at hotel in the evening.
Day 02: Bhubaneswar - Baliguda
On the 2nd day, we will go to Baliguda after breakfast. You can visit Phulbani on the way and it is bounded by green hills. You can also see large water bodies which increases its loveliness. It is placed close to Salunki River. The tourist will get opportunity to visit the tribal villages and observe their culture and traditions.
We will go back to Baliguda for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Baliguda - Belghar - Rayagada
On the 3rd day of our Odisha tribal tour, we have planned to visit Rayagada. You can travel around Tumudibandha and Belghar on the way. In Belghar, you can explore the villages of Kutia Kondh tribes. They are placed inside the forest and mountains. Kutia Kondh tribes are average in height, healthy and very strong. They are not too bothered of future like others.
Then we will return to Rayagada for a relaxed night stay.
Day 04: Rayagada - Jeypore
On the 4th day, we will visit Jeypore after breakfast. You can explore the beauty of Chatikona on the way and will have a walk to observe the rich weekly market of Dongria Kondh tribes. Dongria Kondh tribes are said to be one of the most ancient tribe. They generally reside in the high slopes of the Niyamagiri hills. Their living is centered on horticultures. They cultivate fruits like orange, pineapple, banana etc. The male tribes' uses ear ring, nose ring & maintain their hair similar to woman. Then, we will visit the villages of Paroja tribes.
We will go to Jeypore. You can check into the hotel once reach there. Then enjoy an overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Jeypore - Ankadeli - Lamtaput - Jeypore
Today, it is important for us to wake up early and begin our day early. We will have a whole day outing to Ankadeli and Lamtaput tribal villages.
Ankadelli is a most prehistoric tribal village. You can observe attractive and distinctive tribal weekly market of the Bonda tribes here. It is situated on the edge of the neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh and the place is separated by river Machkund. The visitors can see the tribal of Bonda. They usually live down from the forest. Bondas are said to be the most ancient tribe in India. They are identified as the Nakate tribes of the mountain. You can observe the tradition, culture, dress code and way of living of tribes here. It is charming to watch dress code of women and men. Photography is banned in the market here.
You can also explore Lamtaput village and get a chance to immingle with a primitive tribal community named as the Gdabas. Tourists can see the most vibrant tribal dance described as DEMSA.
Then, we will return to Jeypore for overnight stay.
Day 06: Jeypore - Kunduli - Nandapur - Jeypore
On the 6th day of our trip, we will move to the Sanaparojam. You can take a glance at the largest tribal weekly market from here. Then, we will go to Kunduli. It give you a golden opportunity to see the Kundli tribal market and it is managed the Paraja tribe. It is said to the biggest tribal market in Odisha.
Then, it's time to visit the Nandapur village and from here, you can join with the Sanaparoja tribes. The tourists can also visit the villages of khilus, Saana Padar, Bda Padar.
Then, we will ride back to Jeypore for overnight stay.
Day 07: Jeypore - Rayagada
On the 7th day, you can visit Rayagada. You can come across Koraput on the way to Rayagada and you can make shopping of curios and tribal jewelry at the weekly tribal market managed by the Paraja tribe from here. In Koraput, you can explore Tribal museum and Jagannath Temple. The Jagannath Temple built in 1972 has a similarity to the Jagannath temple of Puri.
Then, we will continue to ride to Rayagada and can visit the village of Mohana on the way. You can check into the hotel once reach here. Then, have an overnight stay at the hotel / guest house.
Day 08: Rayagada - Taptapani
This day, we have planned to make a full day outing around Taptapani. The visitors can observe the Chandragiri which is the Tibetan refugee villages. It is considered that when China attacked Tibet in 1959, refugees landed here in the early 1960 subsequent to exile with the Dalai Lama. In Chandragiri, we will go to the monastery of Padma Sambhava Maha vihara and it is the gemstone of the community. The monastery was built in 2009 and launched by the Dalai Lama himself. Then, the tourists can visit the Harijan Villages around and witness their culture and way of life closely.
We will go back to Taptapani for night stay in the evening.
Day 09: Taptapani - Chilka - Puri
On the 9th day of our Odisha tribal tour, we will move to Puri after the breakfast. You can explore the Chilka Lake on the way to Puri. The lake is a habitat for both resident and migratory and aquatic birds. You can observe a lot of flamingos here. The lake is said to be the biggest home for migratory birds in the Indian subcontinent. Here migratory birds appear in October. Migratory birds used to come from Siberia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Himalayas. The migratory birds used to be in Chilka until March. Chilka Lake is protected as Chilka Lake Bird Sanctuary and you can witness over 150 migratory and resident species of birds.
Then, we will drive back to Puri. You can check into the hotel after reaching here. Spend evening for some leisure activities. Have an Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10: Puri - Konark - Puri
On the 10th day of our trip, we will go to the temple of Jagannath Puri. The temple is a symbol of one of the supreme spiritual and cultural legacies of the world.
Then, it's time for us to visit the Sun temple of Konark. The temple is also labeled as the Black Pagoda and it was built up in 13th century. The temple in fact stands for the perfect example to the artistic glory of the time. The temple is unique in its architecture and execution. A lot of people around the globe used to come to this temple to see its architecture glory and also to pay homage.
We will go back to Puri in the afternoon. You can have a walk along the beach side in the evening. Then, it's time for relaxation and Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Puri - Bhubaneswar
On the 11th day of our trip, we will move to Bhubaneswar after breakfast. You can explore the villages of Raghurajpur and Dhauli on the way. Then, we will continue to move on to Bhubaneswar. You can go to the hotel once you reach here. You can spend evening time for shopping.
Then, have an overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12: Bhubaneswar - Departure
Today, you can move to the airport to board the flight to make your home
