Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2
Paro Sightseeing
Post-breakfast, a half-day visit to Ramthangka gives you an unhurried look at monastery life and a short forest stretch that is genuinely peaceful. Lunch is served at a cafeteria near the site. Return to Paro town by mid-afternoon, and the rest of the day is yours for craft-market browsing, coffee at a local cafe, or a hotel-based rest. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 3
Paro to Thimphu
After breakfast, transfer to Thimphu, the capital and the largest town in Bhutan, along a scenic river road. Afternoon sightseeing covers the Memorial Chorten, a landmark honouring the third king, and the Textile Museum, where the country’s weaving heritage is presented across regions and eras. Evening free for a walk down Norzin Lam or the weekend market. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 4
Thimphu Hike to Chari Dorji Den
Drive to Dodena in the morning and hike through pine forest to Chari Dorji Den, a monastery associated with the early spread of Buddhism in Bhutan. Watch out for Himalayan sambar deer and the occasional monal along the trail. Return to Thimphu by late afternoon for leisure or optional shopping. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 5
Thimphu with Punakha Day Excursion
After breakfast, take a full-day excursion to Punakha across the Dochu La pass, one of the great Himalayan viewpoints on a clear day. Lunch at a local restaurant with rice-terrace and village views. Explore Punakha Dzong at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers before returning to Thimphu for the night. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 6
Thimphu to Paro and Departure
Post-breakfast, transfer from Thimphu to Paro Airport for your return flight to Mumbai. Our staff stays with you through check-in to keep the handoff hassle-free. Your six-day Bhutan itinerary ends here, with the option to extend into Bumthang or Wangdue on a longer version quoted separately.
