Day By Day Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrival in Haridwar
On arrival at Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Haridwar. After check-in and some relaxation, proceed to visit Har Ki Pauri in the evening to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a spiritually uplifting experience on the banks of the holy Ganges. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Haridwar.

DAY 2
Haridwar to Barkot
After breakfast, drive from Haridwar to Barkot, the base camp for the Yamunotri trek. The route passes through Mussoorie and the Kempty Falls area, offering views of the lower Himalayan foothills. Arrive in Barkot by evening. Overnight stay in Barkot.

DAY 3
Barkot to Yamunotri and Back
After an early breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti (the trek starting point for Yamunotri). From here, trek approximately 6 km to the Yamunotri Temple. You can also hire a pony or palki for the trek (at your own cost). At the temple, take darshan and visit the Surya Kund hot springs. Return to Janki Chatti by the same route and drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay in Barkot.

DAY 4
Barkot to Uttarkashi
After breakfast, drive from Barkot to Uttarkashi. The route follows the Yamuna and Bhagirathi river valleys. On arrival, you can visit the Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

DAY 5
Uttarkashi to Gangotri and Back
Early morning drive from Uttarkashi to Gangotri (approximately 100 km). Visit the Gangotri Temple, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. The temple is the spiritual source of the Ganges and holds great significance for pilgrims. After darshan, return to Uttarkashi by evening. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

DAY 6
Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
After breakfast, drive from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi, the base for the Kedarnath trek. The drive is long and passes through several mountain towns. Arrive by evening and rest at your hotel. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

DAY 7
Guptkashi to Kedarnath
Early morning transfer from Guptkashi to Gaurikund or Sonprayag (the Kedarnath trek base). From here, trek approximately 16 km to Kedarnath Temple, or take a helicopter (at additional cost). The Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, sits at an altitude of approximately 3,583 metres. After darshan, overnight stay near Kedarnath (basic accommodations available near the temple).

DAY 8
Kedarnath to Guptkashi
After morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple, trek back to Gaurikund or Sonprayag. Drive to Guptkashi. Rest and recover after a physically demanding day. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

DAY 9
Guptkashi to Badrinath
After breakfast, drive from Guptkashi to Badrinath via Joshimath. The route follows the Alaknanda River and passes through Chamoli district. On arrival at Badrinath, visit the Badrinath Temple for evening darshan. You can also visit the Tapt Kund hot springs near the temple. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

DAY 10
Badrinath Darshan, Visit Mana Village, Drive to Rudraprayag or Kirtinagar
After early morning darshan at Badrinath Temple, visit Mana Village, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. Points of interest in Mana include the Vyas Gufa (cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata), Bhim Pul (a natural rock bridge), and the Saraswati River origin point. After sightseeing, drive to Rudraprayag or Kirtinagar. Overnight stay.

DAY 11
Drive to Haridwar or Rishikesh
After breakfast, drive from Rudraprayag or Kirtinagar to Haridwar or Rishikesh. If time permits, visit Rishikesh for sightseeing. Overnight stay.

DAY 12
Haridwar Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport for your onward journey. Your Char Dham Yatra concludes here with divine blessings and cherished memories.
