DAY 1
COLOMBO – SIGIRIYA (Approx. 4.5 hrs drive)
Once you arrive in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed by our team of representatives at the Airport/Port, who will be your companion during the entire trip. While going through the mesmerizing landscapes of Sri Lanka on your route toward Sigiriya, make Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage your first stop to explore this new land.
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage: This place is a haven for injured and orphaned elephants and a beloved sanctuary for both locals and tourists to explore. Witness these young and old gentle giants bathing and feeding them to get a captivating experience. This place sets a great example of protecting the environment and animals and offers them a natural habitat atmosphere in which to live.
After starting your trip with an eco-tourism site, climb to a UNESCO World Heritage Site- Cave Temple, also referred to as the Golden Temple of Dambulla. Located in the central region of the country, this temple is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex. Seek blessings and admire the spectacular architecture, intricate carvings and old-age era paintings.

DAY 2
SIGIRIYA – POLONNARUWA – SIGIRIYA (Approx. 2.5 hrs one way)
After breakfast, it’s time for a new chapter of your trip. Proceed to Polonnaruwa, the 11th-century island’s capital after Anuradhapura’s decline due to invasions. The expansive Parakrama Samudra– a 5,940-acre irrigation lake, is the standout attraction that you shouldn’t miss. Also, explore the grand palace complex of King Parakrama Bahu, a medieval fortress complete with moats, guard houses, and multi-storeyed walls.
Have lunch at a local eatery to taste the flavours of Sri Lanka, and gear up for an astonishing Jeep Safari at Minneriya National Park. This park is home to Sri Lanka’s most iconic wildlife spectacle- ‘The Gathering.’ Enjoy spotting hundreds of elephants congregating by the reservoir for bathing, feeding, and enjoying water play.
After a full-packed day, head back to the hotel, get a massage, enjoy local delicacies for dinner and relax.

DAY 3
SIGIRIYA – KANDY (Approx. 3 hrs drive)
After enjoying breakfast with a serene sunrise view, we will take you on a drive to the world-renowned Sigiriya Rock Fortress, dubbed the 8th Wonder of the World. This ancient royal citadel built in the 5th Century A.D. is located on a towering rock that makes it a dream destination. It is an architectural marvel with phenomenal carvings and designs, engineering, and art, especially its world-famous frescoes.
Finish lunch, continue your journey to Kandy, and explore the spice garden in Matale along the way. The drive offers you the rich aroma and views of Sri Lanka’s spices that have been prized for centuries and remain globally celebrated. End your 3-hour drive at the Royal Botanic Gardens of Peradeniya, located along the Mahaweli River. It is a famous and most-visited tourist site in the country because of its orchids collection. This lush paradise draws over two million visitors annually and leaves you in awe.
Later, stop by the Gem Gallery in Kandy and learn about Sri Lankan gemstones, their history and formation. Afterwards, enjoy a Cultural Dance Show that reflects centuries-old traditions through rhythmic beats and vibrant costumes.

DAY 4
KANDY – COLOMBO/NEGOMBO (Approx. 4 hrs drive)
After breakfast, let’s make this last day’s adventure memorable. Go on a Kandy city tour. Start your Kandy sightseeing tour from Upper Lake Drive, followed by the bustling Market Square, to shop for souvenirs and seek blessing at the revered Temple of the Tooth (Dalada Maligawa), believed to house the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Also, enjoy a leisurely stroll around town to experience the city life and shop for local goods, seiners like handlooms, jewellery, lacquerware and wooden crafts.
Drive onwards to Colombo, our final destination for this Sri Lanka trip.
Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka and commercial hub, is a mix of colonial and modern architecture, lush tree-lined boulevards, and lively shopping hubs. It is the perfect place for those who are looking for chilling nightlife, fine dining, and retail therapy. Your tour will comprise Colombo’s cultural and architectural diversity. Its buzzing markets of Pettah, the stately Old Parliament, the colonial quarters of Fort, and iconic landmarks like the Seema Malaka Meditation Center, designed by Geoffrey Bawa.
Enjoy the golden sunset along the western coast as city lights begin to glow. Drive through Cinnamon Gardens, visit local temples, and shop the token of love for your loved ones from Majestic City, Liberty Plaza, Crescat, and ODEL Malls. End your day at a fine dining restaurant.

COLOMBO – AIRPORT (Approx. 40 mins drive)

Have your last breakfast on this splendid island, and our driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport in a private cab for your departure (based on your flight timing). Your magical trip ends here, but we are sure you are taking back a bag full of vibrant memories of Sri Lanka, once known as Taprobane.
