Gangasagar
Starting early in the morning between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM. Your journey begins with a comfortable drive to Lot 8 Jetty in Kakdwip, reaching by approximately 9:00 AM.
From Lot 8, board a government ferry or private vessel to cross over to Kachuberia on Sagar Island. Upon arrival at Kachuberia, continue your pilgrimage by car or local transport to the holy confluence (Sangam) of the River Ganga and the Bay of Bengal—one of the most sacred sites in India.
At Gangasagar, take a holy dip (Snan) in the sacred waters and feel the divine energy. You can walk or opt for an e-rickshaw ride to reach the Kapil Muni Ashram, where devotees offer prayers and perform rituals.
After seeking blessings at the Ashram, your tour continues with a Gangasagar sightseeing experience, covering significant spiritual centers such as:
- Bharat Sevashram Sangha
- Omkarnath Temple
- ISKCON Gangasagar Temple
Post sightseeing, return to Kachuberia Ferry Ghat to board the ferry back to the mainland. Your car will be ready at Lot 8 to take you back to Kolkata, concluding your memorable Kolkata to Gangasagar tour with Kapil Muni temple darshan with peace and satisfaction.
