Overview

Udaipur, also known as the “City of Lakes,” lies in the western region of Rajasthan. This historic and majestic destination offers ancient marvels, old temples, beautiful lakes, and museums. Known for its rich culture and historical heritage, the essence of royalty and pride is clearly reflected in the city’s architecture. If you’re planning a one-day escape from your hectic life to a beautiful and culturally rich destination, then Udaipur is the best place to visit. This small city is surrounded by the beautiful Aravali Hills from all four directions, and is also known to be the “Venice of the East.”

The best thing about this destination is watching the sunrise and sunset view from the hilltop, surrounded by lush greenery.. The experience of sightseeing here is not about exploring, but about connecting with nature. Our full-day tour of Udaipur covers all the major and popular attractions. Start early in the morning to make sure that you don’t miss anything.

The first destination to be explored on this tour is the “City Palace of Udaipur”, where we will explore the beautiful landscape and architectural grandeur, which is a blend of Mughal and Rajput styles. After completing the palace tour, enjoy boating and sightseeing at Pichola Lake, which has a majestic charm. This lake was created in 1362 by Maharana Jai Singh to provide a water source in the region. Along with this lake, he also created Fateh Sagar Lake in 1678, which was also built to support the region. After exploring both of these lakes, we will visit Saheliyon ki Bari, which is hardly 10 to 15 minutes away.

This peaceful garden is beautifully designed with fine architecture. This destination is a must-visit if you’re a nature lover and looking for the best scenic views of Udaipur in your journey. Next, we will visit Bagore ki Haveli. This haveli is known for its beautiful architecture and historical significance. In 1991, it was converted into a museum. Here you can experience Rajasthani culture and traditions.

At the end of your one-day trip, we will make our last stop at Bada Bazaar. Enjoy walking through the narrow lanes of this market and end your day by tasting the famous Mirchi Bada and Malai Ghewar.
