DAY 1
Pune To Ahmedabad, Sabarmati And Old City Pols
Morning IndiGo or Air India Express flight from Pune International to Ahmedabad, with Duronto travellers arriving by mid morning. Transfer to the hotel, freshen up, and visit Sabarmati Ashram followed by a guided pol walk covering Kavi Dalpatram Chowk, the wooden havelis of Mandvi ni Pol, and Jain derasar clusters. Spend the evening at Kankaria Lake or the Sabarmati Riverfront. Dinner at Agashiye or a Kathiawadi thali house near Law Garden. Overnight in Ahmedabad.

DAY 2
Modhera Sun Temple, Rani Ki Vav At Patan, Return To Ahmedabad
After breakfast, drive 100 kilometres north to the Sun Temple at Modhera where the Surya Kund tank and assembly hall carvings are the twin draws. Continue 35 kilometres to Patan for Rani ki Vav, a seven storey inverted stepwell with over 500 principal sculptures. Lunch at a Patola weaving family workshop. Return to Ahmedabad with an optional Adalaj stepwell stop for sunset photography. Evening kept free for Manek Chowk street food. Overnight in Ahmedabad.

DAY 3
Ahmedabad To Bhavnagar And Palitana Base
Early check out and drive south to Bhavnagar, roughly 200 kilometres and four hours by expressway, with a mid way tea break at a highway dhaba selling Bhavnagari gathia. Lunch on arrival near Nilambag Palace. Afternoon transfer to the Palitana base town and a pre brief on the Shatrunjaya climb, with doli service pre registered for seniors. Evening at leisure with an early Jain friendly dinner and lights out ahead of the pre dawn ascent. Overnight in Palitana.

DAY 4
Palitana Ascent, Drive To Diu
Ascent begins at 4:30 am with head torches to reach the summit by sunrise around 7 am for the first Aarti at the Adishwar Bhagwan temple. Descent by 10 am, with the doli available downhill too. Late breakfast at base, then drive to Diu via Talaja and Mahuva, roughly 220 kilometres and five hours along a coastal road. Check in at the beach facing hotel. Sunset at Nagoa with fried Bombay duck, and a seafood dinner at a Ghoghla shack. Overnight in Diu.

DAY 5
Diu Island Full Day, Fort, Church, INS Khukri
After breakfast, tour the Portuguese fort with its seaward cannons, St. Paul’s Church with its 1610 baroque facade, the honeycombed Naida caves, and the INS Khukri memorial marking the 1971 naval action. Lunch at a Portuguese influenced beach cafe. Afternoon free for Ghoghla beach, water sports at Nagoa, or a pool siesta. Drive to Chakratirth panorama point for sunset. Optional creek cruise if pre booked. Hotel dinner with live Kutchi folk on select nights. Overnight in Diu.

DAY 6
Diu To Somnath Via Coast, Jyotirlinga Darshan
After breakfast, drive to Somnath along the Saurashtra coast, roughly 90 kilometres and two hours, with a short halt at Chorwad beach if timing allows. Check in and rest through the early afternoon. Late afternoon darshan at Somnath Jyotirlinga, the first of the twelve, with mobiles and cameras deposited at the gate. Attend the evening sound and light show at the temple precinct with pre booked front row seating. Traditional Kathiawadi dinner featuring bajra rotla and ringan no oro. Overnight in Somnath.

DAY 7
Somnath To Sasan Gir, Lion Safari
Morning drive to Sasan Gir, roughly 45 kilometres and one hour, with a stop at Kamleshwar Dam viewpoint where crocodiles are often spotted. Check in at the forest lodge or a periphery resort per booked category. Afternoon jeep safari at 3 pm across designated zones, tracking Asiatic lions, sambar, chital, and marsh crocodile with a licensed naturalist and forest guard. Post safari nature walk around the Maldhari settlement periphery. Kathiawadi dinner at the lodge with a bonfire. Overnight in Sasan Gir.

DAY 8
Second Safari Or Devalia Interpretation Zone, Drive To Ahmedabad, Fly Home
Early second safari slot at 6 am, or the Devalia interpretation zone for guaranteed sightings if day 7 tracking was inconclusive. After breakfast, check out and drive back to Ahmedabad via Junagadh for a brief Uparkot Fort halt, and Rajkot for lunch, totalling roughly 400 kilometres and eight hours. Evening drop at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport for the return flight to Pune, or Ahmedabad Junction for Duronto travellers.
