Day By Day Itinerary

DAY 1
Arrive Kathmandu
You will be greeted at the Kathmandu by a representative of the Memorable India group after which you will be transfer to the hotel. Spend the day at leisure exploring the quaint alleyways and shopping in the local markets followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2
Kathmandu
A feeling of travelling through time arises on the cobbled streets and alleys of the capital of Nepal – Kathmandu. The city has several palace squares, shrines, ageless sculptures, charming bazaars and temples. Kathmandu is located on the banks of Bagmati River. The city is home to one of the most sacred Hindu temples – The Pashupatinath, as well as the world’s largest Buddhist Stupa – Boudhanath. Over 2000 years old Buddhist stupa, the Swayambhunath is believed to offer the best picturesque view of Kathmandu. An early morning visit to Boudhanath temples and Pashupatinath, followed by a visit to Darbar Square, the Temple of Kumari, Kasthamandap and Swayambhunath in the afternoon. Stay at the hotel, overnight.

DAY 3
Kathmandu - Chitwan
Transfer to Chitwan by road followed by an afternoon enjoying the company of Royal Bengal Tigers and one – horned rhinos on a jeep safari. The Chitwan National Park is the first place in the entire country to make it to the World Heritage List by UNESCO. The park is famous for housing rare plants and animals like the one horned rhino and crocodiles. It has over 600 species of flora and fauna including 50 mammals, 49 amphibians and 500 odd birds.
Stay at the hotel, overnight. -
DAY 4
Chitwan
An early morning elephant safari for game viewing followed by a canoe ride to explore the crocodile – breeding farm in the park. Catch the rare view of elephants bathing in the afternoon followed by stay at the hotel, overnight.

DAY 5
Chitwan - Pokhara
A road trip to the most beautiful and scenic Himalayan valley – Pokhara. Spend the day leisurely for individual activities and shopping.
With moderate temperatures and a subtropical climate, Pokhara is the city which was a vibrant part of the trade route between Tibet and India. This beautiful city is a famous tourist spot and the time period between December and January is the best time to visit. Stay at the hotel, overnight. -
DAY 6
Pokhara
Enjoy a tour around the scenic Pokhara, a view of the Himalchuli (7893 m), Fishtail (6994 m), Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and Mt. Annapurna (8091 m) and a boat ride on the Phewa Lake. Spend the rest of the day leisurely. Stay at the hotel, overnight.

DAY 7
Pokhara - Kathmandu
Transfer to Kathmandu and spend the rest of the day leisurely either shopping or with other individual activities. Stay at the hotel, overnight.

DAY 8
Depart Kathmandu
Take a ride in the Mountain flight to appreciate completely the beauty of Mount Everest (optional). Transfer to the airport to board your flight.
