Best time to go for Holi Festival Celebration in Mathura from the Golden Triangle Tour

The best time to experience the Holi Festival Celebration in Mathura with the Golden Triangle Tour is during the spring season, particularly in March, when Holi is celebrated across India. The weather is pleasant and ideal for sightseeing, with warm days and cool evenings. Celebrating Holi in Mathura and Vrindavan during this time allows you to witness the most authentic and colourful version of the festival, filled with traditional music, dance, and joyful chaos. However, it’s also the busiest season, so early bookings are recommended to secure the best accommodations and guides. If you're looking to avoid heavy crowds while still enjoying mild weather, late February or early April (outside the exact Holi dates) can be an alternate choice, but you’ll miss the festival itself. The summer months from April to June are generally not ideal due to high temperatures, and the monsoon season from July to September can bring unpredictable rains that might affect travel plans. For the full Holi experience and comfortable weather, early to mid-March remains the most recommended window for this unforgettable tour.
