Pokhara’s bewitching beauty has been the subject of many travel writers. Its pristine air, a spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes and surrounding greenery make it ‘the jewel in the Himalaya’, a place of remarkable natural beauty. With the magnificent Annapurna range forming the backdrop and the serenity of three major lakes -Phewa, Rupa and Begnas – Pokhara is the ultimate destination for relaxation. Pokhara Valley, gateway to the Annapurna region where many a trekker finds his Shangri-La, sits high on the list of ‘must visit’ places in Nepal.

Pokhara once lay on the important trade route between India and Tibet. To this day, mule trains set up camps on the city outskirts, bringing goods from remote Himalayan regions including the Mustang. Gurungs and Magars, who have earned worldwide fame as fierce Gurkha warriors, are predominant here. Thakalis, indigenous to the Thak Khola region of Mustang, are known for their entrepreneurship and run tea houses along the trek routes in the Annapurna region.

Day By Day Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrival Kathmandu

Arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Welcome by our office representative, transfer to the Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 2

Kathmandu

Early morning Mount Everest flight. After breakfast sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city, including Pashupatinath Temple, Swyambhunath, Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Budhanilakantha (Sleeping Vishnu). Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 3

Kathmandu-Pokhara

After breakfast drive to Pokhara. Visit Manakamana Devi Temple on the way. Proceed to Pokhara after lunch at Manakamana. Overnight in Pokhara.
DAY 4

Pokhara

Early morning Sunrise & Himalayan view from Sarangkot. Come back to Hotel for breakfast; visit Vindabasini Temple on the way. After breakfast sightseeing tour of Pokhara city, including Devi’s fall, Gupteswor Cave, Mahendra Cave, Seti River Gorge, International mountain Museum & Fewa Lake boating. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 5

Pokhara-Kathmandu

After having breakfast drive to Kathmandu. Free time for shopping. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 6

Kathmandu Dep..

Last day of the tour, transfer to airport to connect to your flight for onward Journey.
