You will arrive at Amritsar on your own and quickly proceed to the hotel. The rest of the day can be spent free for your own leisure activities or to just relax from your journey. The first night will be spent at the hotel in Amritsar.

In the morning directly after breakfast there will be a half day sightseeing tour of the town of Amritsar. Places that will be included in this tour are Jalianwala Bagh, Golden Temple, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum and the ISKCON temple. In the afternoon we will proceed to the Wagha Border which is the international borderline between India and Pakistan. Wagah is well known across the world as it is often featured in news headlines on matters concerning both countries. It is an army post that is situated between Lahore and Amritsar and boasts evenings that are quite charming and colorful with the “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. The spectacle and splendor with the ceremony associated with the change of guard within a short expanse make for an appealing experience that is always a crowd pleaser. The most important segment of the ceremonial parade is the bringing down of the respective flags of both countries. Tourists and the locals throng near the border to witness the ceremonial parade of the Soldiers of the two countries. When the sun sets in the horizon, the soldiers take their leave to the rhythm of the beating of the drums and beguiles. The entire ceremony takes nearly thirty minutes. Following this display the evening with its more demure activities are free to do with as you please. The night’s stay will be at the hotel in Amritsar.

Directly following the breakfast meal the drive will head directly to Dalhousie. Upon arrival it is recommended that you check in at a hotel. The rest of the day is free for your own leisure activities. If possible please visit the Mall road as there are many souvenirs that can be had there. The stay overnight will be at the hotel in Dalhousie.

Following breakfast there will be a short sightseeing tour where we will visit Panjpulla, Subash Bowli, and Stature Falls. After this we will take you to Khajjiar which is also known as mini Switzerland of Himachal Pradesh. Night 4 will also be spent at the hotel in Dalhousie.

The day will begin with having breakfast after which we will drive to Dharamshala. After arriving in Dharamshala, check in at a hotel for dinner and the overnight stay. The evening is free for your own leisure activities.

On Day 6 we will be visiting in Dharamshala. Following breakfast we will visit the Norbulinga Institute of Tibetan Culture that was founded by the Department of Religion and Culture with the aim to preserving Tibetan culture. We will also visit Chinmaya Tapovan which was established by Swami Chinmayanand. Other sights in Dharamshala include the 9m tall Lord Hanuman image and the structure of the Ram Temple. The evening will once again be free for you spend as you like with a recommended visit to the market at Mcleodganj also known as little Lhasa. Mcleodganj is the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The final night of the tour will be spent at the hotel in Dharamshala.
