Munnar is located at the confluence of three mountain streams of; Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Munnar is 1600 m above sea level and it used to be the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India during the colonial era. Munnar features large tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities that make it a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. Munnar remains the highest peak in South India as it towers over 2695 meters above the sea level.

Day By Day Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrival Kochi-Munnar
Day one marks your arrival in Kochi-Munnar where you will be picked up from Kochi railway station or airport depending on your means of travel. You will then be driven to Munnar which a four hours drive. You will then book a hotel for your 3 nights stay here.
DAY 2
Munnar- Sightseeing
Your second day in Munnar you could proceed on a full day sightseeing in Munnar which includes a visit to the Sita Deve Lake, Mettupetty Lake and Kundala Lake. At night fall you will go back to your hotel.
DAY 3
Munnar
Your third day in Munnar you will engage in individual activities for the whole day and later go back to your hotel room for the night.
DAY 4
Munnar-Kochi Departure
The fourth day will mark your Munnar-Kochi departure and you will certainly transfer to Kochi railway station or airport for your onward Indian tour.
