Day By Day Itinerary
DAY 1
Sweden to Delhi Arrival
Board your Finnair connection from Stockholm Arlanda through Helsinki, or your Qatar Airways sector from Landvetter via Doha, or your Emirates connection through Dubai. All three options land at Indira Gandhi International (DEL) Terminal 3 in the late evening or early morning window. Clear immigration on your e-visa, collect baggage, and step out to Gate 5 arrivals where our English-speaking representative meets you with a name board and chilled water. A 45-minute transfer takes you to your Aerocity hotel for a short rest before the morning drive. The airport hotel choice keeps the rest window efficient and avoids a mid-city Delhi traffic loop on jet-lagged legs. Overnight in Delhi.

DAY 2
Delhi to Jaipur Drive
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a 9 am pickup for the drive down the Yamuna Expressway and NH 48 to Jaipur, roughly 5.5 hours across 280 kilometres with a break at the Behror rest stop. Reach Jaipur by mid-afternoon and check in to your heritage or 4-star hotel around the walled pink city. Rest in the room for an hour to shake off the international transit fatigue. Late afternoon walk through the Hawa Mahal bazaar street with time for a chai at the corner of Tripolia. Evening dinner at the hotel with a Rajasthani thali suggested for the first meal in state. Overnight in Jaipur.

DAY 3
Jaipur Full Day Sightseeing
Head out at 8 am for Amber Fort ahead of the tour bus crowds. Skip the elephant ramp and take the jeep ascent instead. Cover the Ganesh Pol, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas and the Diwan-i-Aam with a licensed guide for two hours. Return via a quick photo stop at Jal Mahal on the Man Sagar lake. Lunch at LMB in Johari Bazaar for the Rajasthani platter. Post lunch cover City Palace, the Jantar Mantar observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II, and the Hawa Mahal facade shot. Optional evening at Chokhi Dhani village resort for folk dance and dinner (add-on). The guide handles ticket queues at all four monuments. Overnight in Jaipur.

DAY 4
Jaipur to Pushkar via Ajmer
Breakfast and 9 am checkout for the drive to Pushkar via Ajmer, approximately 3.5 hours across 150 kilometres. Stop at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah for a 45-minute visit; photography is restricted inside the sanctum. Continue to Pushkar and check in to your lakeside hotel. Afternoon walk to the Brahma temple, the only functioning Brahma shrine in India, and a slow sit down at the ghats to watch the aarti at sunset. The bazaar around the lake stocks silver, textiles and desert-style leather, priced well below Jaipur retail. Dinner at the hotel with a rooftop lake view. Overnight in Pushkar. A hot air balloon slot can be added here.

DAY 5
Pushkar to Jodhpur Drive
Breakfast followed by a 9 am departure for Jodhpur, roughly 4.5 hours across 190 kilometres of Aravalli foothill road. Lunch halt en route at a highway dhaba of the driver’s recommendation. Reach Jodhpur by mid-afternoon and check in to your heritage haveli or 4-star hotel below the fort. Head up to Mehrangarh Fort by 4 pm for the sunset window on the ramparts. The audio guide included in the ticket walks you through the palace museum, the Chamunda Devi temple and the fort armoury. The blue city grid below turns into a photograph you did not know you needed. Optional Jaswant Thada visit on the way back. Overnight in Jodhpur.

DAY 6
Jodhpur to Jaisalmer Drive
Early morning walk through Sardar Market and the clock tower area for the Jodhpur breakfast staples of mirchi bada and pyaaz kachori. Check out by 10 am and begin the 5.5-hour drive to Jaisalmer across 285 kilometres of straight desert highway. The road is one of the smoother state sectors and lunch is best taken at Pokaran, halfway. Reach Jaisalmer by late afternoon and check in to your fort view hotel outside the living Sonar Qila. Sunset walk at Gadisar Lake with the ghats catching the last light. Dinner at the hotel with a folk performance in the courtyard on select nights. Overnight in Jaisalmer.

DAY 7
Jaisalmer Fort and Sam Desert Safari
After breakfast, walk into Jaisalmer Fort with a local guide for the Jain temples, Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmal ki Haveli and the Salim Singh ki Haveli. The fort is one of the few living forts in the world with 3,000 residents still inside the walls. Return to hotel for lunch. At 3 pm drive out 42 kilometres to Sam Sand Dunes for the desert safari component. Private jeep transfer to the dune line, a 30-minute camel ride at the golden hour, and a swiss tented camp overnight with folk music, Kalbeliya dance, Rajasthani thali dinner and a bonfire. Star density in the Thar sky is genuine. Overnight at the desert camp.

DAY 8
Jaisalmer to Udaipur Transfer
Sunrise at the dunes with tea served at the camp tent doorstep. Transfer back to Jaisalmer town by 8 am for a quick shower at the hotel and breakfast. Two options run for the transfer to Udaipur. Option A is the SpiceJet regional flight from Jaisalmer (JSA) to Udaipur (UDR) via Delhi where available, covering the sector in a combined 6 hours including layover. Option B is the road transfer of roughly 10 hours across 490 kilometres via Jodhpur and Ranakpur. Most travellers on the ten-day format take the flight for schedule reasons. Reach Udaipur by evening, check in to your Lake Pichola view hotel, and rest. Overnight in Udaipur.

DAY 9
Udaipur City Palace and Lake Pichola
Breakfast followed by a 9 am pickup for the City Palace complex, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. A guided round covers the Mor Chowk, the Krishna Vilas, the Zenana Mahal and the crystal gallery. Walk down to Jagdish Temple with its Vishnu shrine and 79-step approach. Lunch at Ambrai on the lake edge with a haveli view. Afternoon at Saheliyon ki Bari, the garden of the maids of honour, followed by a walk through the old city bazaar for miniature paintings and mojari footwear. At 5.30 pm board the Lake Pichola sunset cruise around Jag Mandir island with the City Palace lit up behind. Overnight in Udaipur.

DAY 10
Udaipur to Delhi and Fly Back to Sweden
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a check out timed to your flight. Transfer to Maharana Pratap Airport (UDR) for the IndiGo or Air India connecting flight to Delhi, approximately 1 hour 15 minutes in the air. Land at Delhi Terminal 3, walk across to the international departure zone for your Finnair, Qatar Airways or Emirates return sector back to Arlanda or Landvetter via Helsinki, Doha or Dubai. Total return transit sits at around 14 hours including the Delhi domestic to international transfer window. Post-trip follow-up by email with photograph selects and a review request. This ends your trip on the same routing spine it opened on.
