DAY 1
AIRPORT -CHILAW –TRINCOMALEE- APPROX 05 HRS DRIVE
Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, our representative will welcome you warmly at the airport and take you to Trincomalee. During this drive, Manavari Temple is en route, from where you can begin your trip. This temple is believed to be the first lingam that was installed and worshipped by Lord Rama and got its name as Ramalinga Shivan. It is among the four sacred pilgrimage sites linked to Lord Rama’s penance for killing Ravana.
Make Munneswaram Temple your next stop. It is an ancient Shiva temple believed to predate the Ramayana. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Rama is said to have worshipped here to get rid of Brahmaasthi Dosham after his battle with Ravana, who was a Brahmin. The original Shiva Lingam makes this temple a deeply revered and most visited place in the country.
After seeking blessings, continue your drive to Trincomalee. Check-in at a comfortable hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight.

DAY 2
TRINCOMALEE – SIGIRIYA – KANDY – APPROX 05 HRS DRIVE
After breakfast, begin your second day by heading to Shankari Devi Shakthi Peetham. Though modest, this temple is one of the most revered Hindu temples, holds deep spiritual significance, and attracts millions of devotees every year. It was believed to have been established by Ravana initially and was the first one among the 18 Adi Shankaracharya’s listed Shakti Peethas. The original cliffside temple was destroyed during colonial attacks, and now a commemorative pillar marking its former site. Meanwhile, pilgrims believe that the original idol of the goddess still exists and is worshipped in the newly built temple.
Next, visit Koneswaram Temple, a historic and sacred Hindu shrine resting on the Konesar Malai headland at the eastern coastal city of Trincomalee. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and offers splendid views over the Indian Ocean and the scenic Trincomalee Harbour, also known as Gokarna Bay.
Continue your trip and drive toward Kandy via Sigiriya. Make the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress a brief stop to admire its beauty. Visit the Herbal Spice Garden in Matale en route, where you can learn and explore the country’s rich spices and ayurvedic herbs and their traditional applications.
Enjoy an astonishing Cultural Dance Show in the evening that features traditional dance and music performances. The vibrant costumes, rhythms, and beats offer you a colourful and musical glimpse into Sri Lanka’s cultural tradition.

DAY 3
KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA – APPROX 03 HRS DRIVE
After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kandy. Start from the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism’s pilgrimage sites that is believed to house the tooth of Lord Buddha. On the way, don’t miss the views of Upper Lake Drive and explore the Market Square to shop for souvenirs like handicrafts, wooden art, and handmade textiles.
Later, head to Nuwara Eliya. During your drive, visit a Tea Plantation or Factory to witness the Ceylon tea-making process. Also, make Ramboda Waterfalls your next stop to indulge in its serene landscape, tranquillity, and cascading waterfalls. Visit Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple and seek blessings. It is a significant spot linked to the Ramayana.
Explore the colonial charm of Nuwara Eliya, also referred to as “Little England.” Located at a height of 6,200 feet above sea level, this is an ideal spot to witness the cool climate and English-style architecture. The Grand Hotel, vintage cottages, and golf course take you back to the colonial times.
Next, explore Victoria Park, a well-maintained garden known for its birdlife. Visit the Sita Amman Temple, which houses the beautiful Lord Rama and Mata Sita statues and stunning carvings on the walls depicting their story. End Kandy sightseeing tour at Hakgala Botanical Garden (Ashok Vatika), believed to be the place where Ravana kept Mata Sita and where Lord Hanuman met her for the first time.

DAY 4
NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA – YALA – APPROX 04 HRS DRIVE
After breakfast, start a new day’s adventure by proceeding to Yala via Ella. Make Ravana Falls your first stop and admire this scenic waterfall steeped in legends. Explore the nearby Ravana Cave, which is believed to be linked to Mata Sita abduction.
Next, visit the renowned Nine Arch Bridge. It is a colonial-era engineering marvel that is surrounded by lush tea plantations and heart-soothing greenery. Continue your journey and head to Divurumpola, the revered site linked to Ramayana, where Mata Sita is said to have undergone her fire trial to prove her purity.
Ella is a serene highland retreat renowned for its stunning mountain vistas and ties to the Ramayana. The famous Ella Gap offers sweeping views that stretch to the southern coast, while Ella Rock and the surrounding hills provide a picturesque haven for nature enthusiasts.

DAY 5
YALA – BENTOTA – APPROX 05.30 HRS DRIVE
Start your day with an early morning wildlife safari in Yala National Park (05:30 AM to 09:30 AM). It is Sri Lanka’s second-largest and most visited national park. It is home to the highest leopard densities in the world, elephants, sloth bears, deer, crocodiles, and over 200 bird species.
After enjoying the safari, continue your journey to Bentota via Galle. Visit the famous historical Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site originally built by the Portuguese and later fortified by the Dutch. This coastal fortress has withstood centuries of tides and invasions.
Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, a renowned conservation center dedicated to protecting endangered sea turtles. Gain insights into their life cycle and the ongoing efforts to ensure their survival.
Afterward, proceed to Bentota and check in at your hotel. Unwind by the beach, explore the serene surroundings, or indulge in the hotel’s amenities.

DAY 6
BENTOTA CITY TOUR – COLOMBO – APPROX 02.30 HRS DRIVE
After breakfast, start exploring Bentota. Fascinated by the scenic boat ride along the Madu River, passing through awe-inspiring mangroves and islands teeming with birdlife, reptiles, and fish. This wetland ecosystem will take you through a variety of butterflies and amphibian species.
Next, enjoy a brief tour of Bentota. Go through the quiet coastal town known for its golden beaches, water sports, and birdwatching. This is the perfect place for nature lovers who are seeking a perfect spot for relaxation in the lap of nature.
Time to proceed to Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Enjoy a city tour by visiting various landmarks, modern skyscrapers, colonial buildings, and the seaside promenade.
