Overview

If you are a devoted bhakt of Lord Shiva, this one’s for you! With Memorable India’s 28 Days Sacred Twelve Jyotirlingas Tour Package, take a spiritual journey like never before. It is the journey of the return spiritually to the past, the return through memory and history, the return to the mystery and rapture of the most holy Shiva temples of India.

The 12 Jyotirlingas, considered to be the holiest shrines of Hinduism, are geographically spread out in India glacial top of Kedarnath to the sea-shore sanctuaries of Rameshwaram, each entwined in myth and worship for ages. This deep journey is one of the deepest and most extensive itineraries of the 12 Jyotrilingas tour packages and is made up of spiritual pilgrims and tourists who wish to get a spiritual, cultural, and historical immersion and experience the essence of the 12 Jyotrilingas tour in India.

Start with a city tour of Kolkata that gets the pilgrimage going, and after that, travel by train to Kiul. First darshan is of the ancient Baijnath temple, Deogarh, which is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, where the mood of devotion is set. Keep on going to the spiritual centers: Bodhgaya, the place where Lord Buddha became enlightened, and Varanasi, the location of the very Kashi Vishwanath temple on the Ganges (second Jyotirlinga). At this place, traditions going back a couple of millennia are vibrant with morning boat rides, holy bathing, cremation ghats, and evening aarti ceremonies at Dasawamedha Ghat.

From there, proceed to the north via Rishikesh and en route, see other pious towns like Rishikesh. Then start the ascent to Kedarnath, the Himalayan Jyotirlinga that is located in the mountains and surrounded by snow. With the help of Hindu rituals, aarti, and pooja. Thereafter, the present 28 Days Sacred Twelve Jyotirlingas Tour Package goes further deep into the western and central India region, opening the chapter of Omkareshwar on the Narmada River in Madhya Pradesh and Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar temple, one of the most potent energizers in the 12 Jyotirlingas tour packages. The pious circuit of West India gets unwrapped as you reach Rajkot, Nageshwar of Dwarka, and the coastal brilliance of Somnath, all impressed with the mythic time of Lord Shiva’s abode. After that, the tour goes on to the energetic Mumbai and the tranquil Triambakeshwar of Nasik, where pilgrimages to the famous Grishneshwar temple near the world-renowned Ellora caves and the wooded sanctuary of Bhimashankar near Pune are made. These are the core experiences of any 12 Jyotrilingas tour of India.

The exploration drifts to the South of India, where Hyderabad comes in for Mallikarjuna darshan, and then Kerala’s green nature. From here, the pilgrims go across the Tamil Nadu border for the legendary travel from Meenakshi Temple in Madurai to the southernmost Jyotirlinga at Rameshwaram. Each point is full of myth and luxury and offers a mix of temple rituals, aartis, holy dips, and local culture. Memorable India’s 28 Days Sacred Twelve Jyotirlingas Tour Package wraps up with a beautiful journey back to Chennai, where pilgrims can leisurely reflect on weeks full of devotion, history, and self-discovery. More than being a mere pilgrimage, this is a lifetime experience of spiritual immersion, temple architecture, and India’s living soul, which makes it different from the other 12 Jyotrilinga tour packages. In India, the 12 jyotrilingas tour is a meeting point between devotees and seekers and the core of divine Shiva worship in those places where legend still exists.
