Overview

Sanchi, a temple city of India, is located in the center of Madhya Pradesh. This place has been a witness to the sacred aura of Buddhism for ages and is dotted with stupas, viharas, and temples that are the living history of the rich heritage of the Indian Subcontinent. The Great Stupa of Sanchi, a masterpiece of architecture, is undoubtedly the primary reason for this heritage staying alive in people’s minds. It not only offers visual but also interaction with countless inscriptions and ancient bas-reliefs.

The Sanchi Stupa Tour by Memorable India begins from Delhi, the capital city of India, where one can see the fusion of historical and modern life. Visitors are now about to step into the archeological museum, where they will be awe-struck by the Bhimbhetka caves that are a window to the historic era of India.

Traveling via this package, travelers will further enrich their travel with a visit to the Ajanta and Ellora caves, which are three great rock-cut temples that have been a source of spectacular shrines and monasteries representing the teachings of Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. Drum houses of traditional folk art, lace-like sculptures, and miracle-sharing have highly impressed people from all over the world, who then registered the site as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The trip will then take you to the middle of the vibrant heart of Mumbai, where the Gateway of India and Juhu Beach, two of the most famous places, will be of help in bringing you back to reality from the peaceful journey you had with a gentle but refreshing contrast.

The India Sanchi Stupa Tour packages are a combination of faith, history, and culture that are beautifully woven together to show not only the monuments but also the living tradition of the people that has been continuing for a long time. It is a perfect journey for people who want to have a deep connection with Indian Buddhist monuments and, at the same time, experience the country’s magnificent heritage.
