The Sham Valley is also recognized as the Apricot Valley. The valley is abode of Apricot Flowers and they bloom during winter. The Sham Valley is one of the effortless treks in Ladakh. Sham Valley Trek is apt for novices, experienced trekkers and families. The trek is also named as baby Trek.     Day By Day Itinerary

    • DAY 1

      Delhi - Leh (Complete Rest in Leh for acclimatization)

      Catch the flight from Delhi to Leh. On arrival at Ladakh, you will be able to meet our representative. He will guide you to your hotel and Check-in to the pre-booked hotel. Get refreshed and be acclimatized. You can visit the local market of Leh in the evening. Then, have an overnight stay in the hotel.

      Leh - Shey - Thiksey - Hemis

      On the 2nd day, we will go for a sightseeing trip and we will visit some of the prominent monasteries here. Visitors can explore Shey Gompa, Thiksey Gompa and the famed Hemis Monastery which belongs to Drukpa Order. You can have an overnight stay at the guest house.

    • DAY 3

      Leh - Likir - Yangthang across Phobe La (9 Kms/4 to 5 Hrs.)

      Today, after breakfast, we will drive to Likir. It is just about 58 kilometers away from here. Likir is the starting point of our trek. We will start trekking today and cover only a short distance. We will cross two passes including Phobe La (3580 meters) and Chagatse La (3630 meters). You can find the village of Yangthang at the Chagatse pass. We will camp at Yangthang for the night.

      Yangthang - Hemis Shukpachan across Tsermangchan La (8 Kms 2/3 Hours)

      Today, we will be climbing up to a pass. We will walk to north and will pass through a stream ascending west to Tsermangchan La (3750 meters) and get down to Hemis Shukpachan. You can find many streams bounded by shaded willows and huge barley fields.

      Hemis Shukpachan - Ang across Mebtak La (10 Kms/3 Hrs)

      On the 5th day of our trekking, we have planned to trek upward between two hillocks and go up to Mebtak La (3750 meters). We will continue trekking to Ang from the pass. We will camp at Ang for a relaxing overnight stay.

    • DAY 6

      Ang - Temisgam and Nurla (8 Km/3 Hrs) - Leh

      On the 6th day of the trek, we will make a trek downward to get to the main road. We will get on to the taxi waiting for us at Temisgam. Then, we will move on to Leh.

      Today morning, you can proceed to the airport to catch flight to Delhi.
