Board your evening Lufthansa LH754 from Frankfurt or LH764 from Munich, a non-stop sector of roughly 8 hours 45 minutes to Kempegowda International Airport. Our English-speaking representative meets you outside arrivals with a name board, hands over the trip kit with local SIM and Euro conversion notes, and escorts you to the AC vehicle for the 40-minute transfer. A light South Indian breakfast at the hotel sets the palate. The day is deliberately unstructured to help you acclimatise to the four-hour time difference. Bengaluru City Round and Drive to Mysore

After breakfast, a half-day guided round covers the Vidhana Soudha exterior, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, and Bengaluru Palace with its Tudor-style architecture. Lunch stop at MTR or a similar heritage restaurant for a South Indian thali. Around 2 pm, begin the drive to Mysore via the expressway, a smooth 150-kilometre run of roughly three hours with a chai halt at Kamat Lokaruchi. Check in by early evening. An optional Chamundi Hill sunset drive can be added if energy holds. Dinner features Bisi Bele Bath and Mysore Pak. Overnight in Mysore.

Mysore Palace, Chamundi and Drive to Ooty

Breakfast at leisure, followed by a full guided visit of the Mysore Maharaja Palace with its Indo-Saracenic domes and the Ambavilasa durbar hall. Proceed to Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hill for darshan and the panoramic Mysore view. Wrap by noon, check out, and drive to Ooty via Bandipur and Mudumalai tiger reserves, roughly five hours across 165 kilometres of ghat road. Wildlife spotting is possible; the driver slows at sighting points. The final 30 kilometres climb into the Nilgiris. Check in and settle in with a cardigan on. Overnight in Ooty.

Ooty Sightseeing and Nilgiri Toy Train

After breakfast, head out for a full-day round of Ooty. Start with the Government Rose Garden and the Botanical Gardens, followed by a short drive to Doddabetta Peak for the highest Nilgiri viewpoint. Post-lunch at a local Tamil restaurant, board the UNESCO-listed Nilgiri Mountain Railway toy train for the Coonoor to Ooty segment, seats booked in advance subject to availability. Ooty to Cochin via Coimbatore

Breakfast at leisure, then check out and drive from Ooty to Cochin via Coimbatore, roughly seven hours across 285 kilometres with a lunch halt at a highway restaurant near Palakkad. The route drops from the Nilgiris through the Coimbatore plains and crosses into Kerala at the Walayar checkpoint. Arrive at your Fort Kochi hotel by early evening. Freshen up and take a relaxed walk along the Fort Kochi promenade to see the Chinese fishing nets against the sunset. Dinner at a Kochi seafood restaurant, with karimeen fry recommended. Overnight in Kochi.

Fort Kochi Walking Round and Kathakali Evening

Breakfast at leisure, followed by a half-day guided walking round of Fort Kochi covering St Francis Church where Vasco da Gama was first buried, Mattancherry Palace with its Ramayana murals, the Paradesi Synagogue at Jew Town, and the antique bazaar that still smells of pepper and cardamom. Lunch at a colonial-era restaurant. The afternoon is free for an optional Ayurvedic consultation or shopping on Princess Street. Evening classical Kathakali performance with a pre-show face-paint demonstration is a fixed inclusion. Overnight in Kochi.

Kochi to Munnar Drive

Breakfast and check out by 9 am. Begin the drive to Munnar via Muvattupuzha and Adimali, roughly 4.5 hours across 130 kilometres with a lunch halt at Cheeyappara waterfall. The final 30 kilometres climb into the Kannan Devan hills through switchbacks and tea estates. Check in at your Munnar hotel by mid-afternoon. The rest of the day is free to sit out on the balcony with an estate tea, walk the property grounds, or book an in-house Ayurvedic massage on advance notice. Dinner brings a Kerala-style menu. Full Day Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, head out for a full-day round of Munnar. First stop is Eravikulam National Park to walk the Rajamalai trail for a chance to spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Proceed to Mattupetty Dam for the reservoir view and a short shikara ride if water levels allow. Echo Point is next, followed by Kundala Lake and the Tea Museum, where the guided tour explains Munnar plantation history end to end. Return by early evening. An Ayurveda add-on massage can be arranged at your hotel spa. Overnight in Munnar.

Munnar to Thekkady and Alleppey Houseboat

Breakfast at leisure, then check out and drive to Thekkady via the Devikulam belt, roughly 3.5 hours across 110 kilometres of ghat road. A working cardamom, pepper, and coffee plantation walk with a guide runs for an hour after lunch. Optional Periyar Lake boat cruise in the late-afternoon slot when elephant and bison sightings peak. Late-evening drive of two hours to Alleppey, arriving at the jetty by nightfall for a pre-booked houseboat with the captain and cook waiting. Dinner is Kuttanad-style karimeen, avial, thoran, and rice on banana leaf. Overnight on houseboat.

Alleppey Cruise Finish and Lufthansa Return Sector

Wake to a slow cruise back through the Vembanad canal system with breakfast served on board. Disembark at the Alleppey jetty by 9:30 am and drive to Cochin International Airport, roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. Depending on your Lufthansa return sector timing, the disembarkation can be pulled earlier to catch afternoon slots comfortably. Most guests use this drive to nap after the cruise night, so stops are kept minimal. Airport drop, boarding pass check, and the Lufthansa flight back to Frankfurt or Munich closes the round trip.
