Your contract with M/s. Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd. comes into effect once we have confirmed your tour or travel services in writing and have received the required deposit from you. Until both conditions are met, no binding contract exists between the parties.
To confirm any booking, a deposit of 25% of the total tour cost must be paid to M/s. Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd.. This deposit secures your reservation and reserves the services on a confirmed basis.
The balance amount is payable no later than 15 days before the start of services. Any booking made within 15 working days of the service start date is treated as a late booking, and the full payment must be made at the time of booking.
For bookings involving special train journeys, or hotel and resort stays during peak periods such as Christmas, New Year, the Pushkar Fair, Diwali and similar occasions, full payment is required at the time of booking.
In certain cases, even after the initial 25% advance has been paid, an additional advance may be required before the final balance due date. This depends on the payment deadlines set by individual hotels, transporters or other suppliers, and you will be informed of any such requirement in advance.
International clients may remit payment through bank transfer (Telex Transfer) to our designated bank account.
Please be aware that no employee or authorised agent of Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd. will ever ask you for your net banking login, password, OTP or similar credentials. We will also never request transfers to a personal account or ask you to install third party applications such as AnyDesk, TeamViewer or any other remote access tool.
If you receive any such request, please do not act on it. Report the incident immediately to info@memorableindia.com.
All cancellations must be communicated to us in writing. Cancellation charges will apply from the date we receive your written notice and will be calculated as follows:

For services that have been paid for in advance and subsequently cancelled, the refund will be calculated in accordance with the cancellation policy set out above. The refund will be issued to the person who originally made the payment to us. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for the refund to be processed, as banking timelines vary. Where the refund is credited to a credit card or bank account, any applicable bank charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
All guests, whether foreign nationals, NRIs or Indian nationals, are required to submit valid photo identification at the time of booking confirmation. The applicable documents are as follows:
Standard hotel check-in is between 1200 and 1500 hours. Early check-in is subject to availability. To guarantee occupancy from earlier in the day, a reservation starting from the previous night is recommended.
Standard check-out is between 1000 and 1200 hours. Late check-out may be arranged on request, subject to availability and applicable charges.
The cost of additional vehicle usage, whether cars or coaches with driver, is not included in the quoted tour price. Vehicles are arranged strictly for the transfers and sightseeing specified in your itinerary, and any further use beyond these is not permitted unless arranged separately at additional cost.
Once a tour cost has been finalised, any subsequent increase in monument or museum entry fees, taxes, fuel costs or guide charges imposed by the Government of India will be charged to the client as an additional cost.
The rates quoted by Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd. are based on prevailing tariffs negotiated with hotels, airlines and other service providers. These providers reserve the right to revise their rates without notice. In the event of such a revision, the rates we have quoted may be adjusted accordingly.
Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd. and its associates act solely as agents for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways and other contractors providing services to the client. All vouchers, receipts, contracts and tickets issued by us are subject to the terms and conditions under which these services are supplied by the respective providers. The tickets, coupons or passage contracts issued by carriers, hotels or other contractors constitute the sole contract between the client and the relevant service provider.
The itineraries published by Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd. are indicative and are intended to give a general outline of the planned trip. Several factors, including weather, road conditions and the physical ability of the participants, may necessitate changes to the itinerary either before or during the tour. We reserve the right to amend any aspect of the itinerary, including transport and accommodation, without prior notice, where such changes are made in the interest of the trip, the safety, comfort or general well being of the participants. No rebate, allowance or refund will be payable in such circumstances, and any additional cost arising from the change will be borne by the client.
Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any delay, change of programme, expense incurred, special or consequential loss, injury or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, mechanical breakdown, breakdown of transport, adverse weather, illness, landslides, political closures, acts of God, perils at sea, floods, fire, government action, war, civil disturbance, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantine, regulatory action by medical or customs authorities, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control. Any extra cost or liability arising from such causes shall be borne by the client.
Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable to the client or their legal representatives for any loss of property, damage, injury or loss of life resulting from the act, omission, negligence or default of any transport company, hotel, agent, service provider or any other third party, whether arising out of ownership, maintenance, operation or control of any vehicle, vessel, aircraft or other means of transport, and whether due to negligence or otherwise. Clients using sporting equipment, bicycles, sailing boats, scuba diving gear or similar equipment hired or supplied by hotels or rental providers do so entirely at their own risk.
Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd. does not maintain any insurance policy covering expenses arising from accident, sickness, theft or any similar event. Clients are strongly advised to arrange appropriate travel and medical insurance in their home country before commencing the trip. All baggage and personal belongings remain at the client’s own risk at all times.
Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any service if, in its judgement, the tour, trip or passage is impracticable or if circumstances warrant such action. In such cases, the amount paid for the affected service will be refunded and the client shall have no further claim against the company.
Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd. reserves the absolute right to refuse to carry out its contract with any person whom it considers, in its sole discretion, to be undesirable, and is under no obligation to provide a reason for doing so.
Memorable India Journeys Pvt. Ltd. (the company), together with its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers and their respective successors, heirs and permitted assigns, shall not be held responsible or deemed to be in default for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such performance is rendered impracticable by acts of war (whether declared or undeclared), sabotage, embargo, terrorism, riot or civil commotion, failure of transportation, acts of any government, court or administrative agency, acts of God, fire, explosion, flood, earthquake, strike, pandemic, epidemic, outbreak of disease, quarantine restrictions or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the company (collectively referred to as “Force Majeure”).
Both the company and the client shall use their best efforts to avoid, mitigate and offset the effects of any actual or potential Force Majeure event. Once the cause of the Force Majeure ceases, the terms and conditions set out herein shall once again become fully operative.
A Force Majeure event will not, however, relieve either party of obligations that had accrued prior to the occurrence of the event.
All disputes arising out of this agreement or any subsequent agreement between the parties shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi.
