Kolkata, Bhubneshwar, Puri, Kolkata
Day 01: Arrival
On arrival at the Kolkata Airport a warm welcome followed by transfer to the hotel. Stay at the hotel overnight.
Day 02: Kolkata
Kolkata or formerly known as Calcutta is located on the eastern coast of the Hoogly river. This city is famous for leather goods, Tant saris handlooms and handicrafts and also mouth-watering rasgullas.
A visit to the flower market and Belur Math is arranged in the morning. This will be followed by a journey to admire Victorian architecture in the city followed by a boat ride across the Ganges to visit the Dakshineshwar temple. Bhavatarini is the presiding deity of this temple which was built in 1855. The afternoon has in store a visit to the Kalighat temple, the book market and the Jain Temple. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Day 03: Kolkata - Bhubaneshwar
In the morning a visit to the flower market situated near the Hoogly river bank and then a boat ride. This will be followed by a trip to the Missionaries / Charity founded by Mother Teresa. A flight to the next destination, Bhubaneshwar in the evening followed by transfer and a night stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Bhubaneshwar
Bhubaneshwar - Temple city of India, is famous for housing over 50 stone temples and is an important pilgrimage centre for Hindus. The day starts with a visit to the Rajarani and Lingaraj temples and is followed by a drive to explore the beauty of Udayagiri and Khandagiri caves. This Kalinga style temple is about hundred and eighty feet tall. It is considered as the most notable monument of the city. This is followed a visit to the Ashoka Peace pagoda at Dhauli and a stay at the hotel overnight.
Day 05: Bhubaneshwar - Konark - Puri
Before continuing to Puri to visit Jagannath temple, a visit to the historic Konark temple is arranged. En route we visit the crafts village at Pipli. The magnificent Jagannath temple is famous for being one among the 4 most important pilgrimage sites for the Hindus which are collectively known as chardham. A stay at the hotel, overnight.
Day 06: Puri
A visit to the Handicraft village - Raghurajpur in the morning followed by an excursion trip to the Chilka Lake in the afternoon. Stay at the hotel, overnight.
Day 07: Puri - Bhubaneshwar - Kolkata
The day is reserved for shopping at Bhubaneshwar. After lunch, flight back to Kolkata. Transfer to the hotel on arrival followed by an overnight stay.
Day 08: Departure
Transfer to airport for departure from Kolkata.
