      Reporting at New Delhi

      Reach the Safdarjung Railway station at New Delhi from where the luxury cruise departs and receive a grand welcome before you board the cruise. The cruise departs at 6:30 PM to take you around Rajasthan.

      Jaipur

      Often known as the Pink city of India, this place awaits a great thrill to the tourists. A centre of most Mughal rulers, Jaipur is a city with plenty of forts and places which exhibit some splendid craftsmanship. Your tour begins with the Hawa Mahal followed by Jantar Mantar and then the city palace that is now turned into a museum to give you deep insights about the rajputs and previous rulers and their lifestyle.

      Jaipur is also known as a shopping hub and you are to find an enormous variety of handicrafts, clothes, and ornaments, sure to impress your taste buds. You reach Amber Fort for lunch and enjoy the rich architectural aesthetics of the fort. The mixture of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles makes the fort stand out among most of the forts constructed during this period.

      Return back to the cruise via a bus to complete your day with an elaborate dinner and some drinks.

      Ranthambore (5:30 - 10:30 AM)

      The place on wheels takes you to the famous Ranthambore National park, situated at the middle of the Vindhyas and the Aravalis, make it a place both rich in its life and rich in history. Ranthambore has often been a centre for different wars and also an important centre for Rajput activity.

      The Ranthambore Fort, situated at the hill top has a number of heritage constructions like a well, the cenotaph and tombs of different rulers which have been carefully preserved for the tourists.

      The Ranthambore National Park is one of the best examples of unity in diversity where an elaborate ecosystem coexists naturally without interference. Spotting the royal Bengal tiger, Indian Gazette, sloth bears and a variety of birds and trees is often the most awaited part of the Journey.

      Chittorgarh

      By the afternoon, the Palace on wheels takes you to the heritage city Chittorgarh which houses one of the oldest forts of India built during the Mauryan ages which stands still as a symbol of the aura and reported that the Mauryans were subject to. The palace comprises of the famous Kumbhghar and the Padmini Palace where the iconic Queen Padmini resided. This fort is one of the finest examples of Mauryan and Rajput architecture. The tour gets over at 2 and you board the Palace on wheels again.

      Udaipur

      Enjoy the spectacular remains of the reign of Maharana Pratap and his successors built around the lake Pichola. The beautiful architecture and surrounding beauty of Udaipur is enough to take your Rajasthan tour a step higher as you tour around the floating Ireland Palace and summer retreat.

      Enjoy your lunch at the Crystal gallery among the mountains and lake decorated by miniature paintings to satiate your tastes. Return o the cruise via a splendid boat ride.

      Jaisalmer

      Named after rawal Jaisal, a Bhati ruler, Jaisalmer was constructed around 1156 AD. The western most city of the desert connects India to Persia, Egypt and the West and has flourished as an important trade centre under different rulers ever since its construction. The Sonar Quila made of pure yellow sandstone is one of the major attractions owing to its architectural magnificence and beautiful paintings.

      The city of Jaisalmer would also attract you towards the huge havelis all around. The Patwon ki Haveli and Singh Ji ki haveli are amongst the most prominent ones. You enjoy a satisfying Rajasthani thali in Jaisalmer and get greater insights about its constructions and rulers by enjoying some tea and snacks for the evening. The Palace on wheels takes you on board for the new destination at 11:45pm.

      Jodhpur

      Reach the former capital of Marwar, commonly known as Jodhpur to experience a different layout and construction of the forts. Enjoy your lunch organized by Star Hotel and proceed towards the Mehrangarh Fort built during 1459 by Rao Jodha. Built on the top of the hill, the fort gives you a panoramic view of the entire city and lets you be a part of the rich cultural heritage of the Rathores.

      Watch the Umaid Bhawan built during the reign of Umaid Singh which is one of the grandest forts now turned into a luxury hotel. The white central dome is the significant attraction apart from the clock tower inside Umaid Bhawan. Enjoy your lunch at 5 star hotel and board the Palace on wheels once again.       Bharatpur

      Bharatpur stands out as a destination because of its unique history. The city was ruled by the Jats in an age where the entire Indian subcontinent was either under the rajputs or the Mughals. The fort of Lohargarh built by Suraj Mal is a must watch fort made of iron which is the only fort with mud bastions and has managed to survive the canons of all the wars without affecting the fort at all. Visit the Keoladeo Ghana National Park for some amazing bird watching and other exotic wild species.

      Agra

      The most exciting bit of the palace on wheel tour ends with visiting Agra. Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal built of pure marble by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The mesmerizing view of the interiors of the Taj Mahal with calligraphy done on the walls by the emperor himself is sure to make your heart skip a bit. Have lunch at a hotel and board the Palace on wheels for one last time to reach Delhi for departure.
