When Should I Leave For My Journey

While you can go anytime between April to October, however, it is best to avoid the monsoon months. Even though the government has made quite a few developments to aid pilgrims during monsoon, the roads still get blacked and landslides are quite common. The only good thing about rising during the monsoon months is that the crowd is less.

How I Do I Book My Yatra?

How to prepare for the journey?

If you are planning on embarking on the Char Dham Yatra by road, then you need to make sure that you are at the epitome of your physical and mental health. You must get a medical check-up done to ascertain your physical fitness and only the attempt this Yatra.

To prepare for this Yatra, you should walk at least 4 to 5 km per day and also practice breathing exercises. This will help you to get acclimatized to the lack of oxygen as you reach higher altitudes.

Will I be affecting the environment during my Char Dham Yatra?
