Day 01: Jammu / Pathankot - Dharamshala
A Memorable India representative will greet you at Jammu / Pathankot, where you will be transferred by road to Dharamshalla. Set in the scenic valley of Kangra, the region is known for picturesque landscapes, and tranquillity. Set in the backdrop of the glorious Dhauldhar Mountains, Dharamshalla is the place to be if you want to feel close to nature. On arrival, we check into a hotel, and the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 02: Dharamshala
Today, we proceed to see the Baijnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. After the half day spent at the temple we visit the Tibetan Monastry in Mcleodganj, also known as Upper Dharamshalla. It is the seat of his holiness, the Dalai Lama. The rest of the day is at leisure, to explore the Tibetan market and the surrounding scenery.
Day 03: Dharamshala - Khajjiar
We set out early for Khajjiar, which is popularly known as Mini - Switzerland. With snow-capped peaks, and lush greenery, this is a haven for people who love hill stations. On arrival at Khajjiar we check into the hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 04: Khajjiar
We set out to explore the beauty of the town. With scenic landscapes, and breath taking valleys, please do not forget to carry your camera. After being mesmerized by the sights of Khajjiar, we retire, for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Khajjiar - Dalhousie
We head to Dalhousie, a set of five hills ranging in heights from 1600 to 2500 meters. On arrival, the rest of the day is left for you to explore the town. Dalhousie offers a glimpse of the hill state of Chamba which has preserved Indian culture, temples and art work since the 6th century.
Day 06: Dalhousie
Today we start the day with a walk to the Satdhara, also known as seven springs. Rich in mica and famous for its medicinal properties, we tour the Satdhara for about an hour. We continue our walk to the Martyr's memorial at Panchpula, and walk back to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 07: Dalhousie - Jammu / Pathankoot
Today, we transfer you to Jammu / Pathankot, and wish you a safe onward journey.
