DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrival Delhi
Welcome and transfer to the hotel after arrival at the Delhi Airport. In case of arrival in the morning, a guided tour to Red Fort, Raj Ghat (Gandhi's Memorial) and Jama Masjid will be arranged. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 2 - Delhi- Mandawa
After having the morning breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Mandawa to explore its beauty and charm. It is said that, the Shekhawati Rajput founded and inhabited the Mandawa city. The beautiful havelis of Mandawa showcase the fresco painted walls for which the city is known as the 'Open Art Gallery'. For the intrinsic art and architecture, it is also famously called as 'Scotland of India'. The most interesting thing about Mandawa is maximum number of people from this city are recruited for the Indian army every year. After visiting all the places at Mandawa, we will return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.


Day 3 - Mandawa- Bikaner
Early morning, we drive to Bikaner, our next destination. Rao Bikaji, a Rathore prince founded the city in the year 1488. The sand dunes of Bikaner are its prime attraction among tourists. The city is also famous for its delicious snacks and sweets. The Usha art of Bikaner draws the attention of many for its execution on pieces of camel hide. The major sightseeing of Bikaner includes Junagarh Fort, Fort Museum, Camel Breeding Farh and Lallgarh Palace. We will come back to the hotel for the night stay.


Day 4 - Bikaner-Jaisalmer
Next day, we head to the Jaisalmer, better known as the golden city. The city was founded by Rawal Jaisal and named after the Bhati Rajput ruler. Jaisalmer is dotted with a number of enchanting havelis with crenellated sandstone walls. The barren deserts get you an Arabian night's feel which is a memory of lifetime. We will visit places like Patwaon ki Haveli, Gadsisar Lake, Fort Palace Museum and Jain Temples. We retire in the hotel room at night.


Day 5 - Jaisalmer
Early morning, we will visit to the Jaisalmer fort or the citadel. The Jaisalmer fort is known to be the golden fantasy in the Thar Desert. Next we take a one hour drive to Sam, which is located on the outskirts of Jaisalmer. We will take a camel ride and enjoy the sand dunes of sam. The desert festival of Sam is enjoyed by lot many visitors for its folklore and traditional music and dance in the sand dunes.
After the trip to Sam, the evening will be enjoyed by a camel ride on the sand dunes. Finally we return back to the hotel for overnight stay.


Day 6 - Jaisalmer-Jodhpur
We drive for Jodhpur early morning. The city was founded by Rao Jodha and named after him. It is the second largest city in the state of Rajasthan and also known to be the 'Blue City' or 'Sun City'. We will head for a sightseeing tour across the city which includes the Mehrangarh Fort and the Clock Tower. The Mehrangarh Fort is located on 150m high hill and was once the residence of the Rathore Kings of Rajasthan. We return to the hotel for the night stay.


Day 7 - Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Mount Abu
Early morning, we head to Mount Abu. Next, we will visit Ranakpur, a place located in the Aravalies on the Udaipur-Jodhpur highway. A trip to the Jain temples in Ranakpur should not be missed. There are 1,444 pillars and 29 halls in the Jain temples. The pillars and halls are intricately carved and symbolize the royal Rajasthani architecture. It is because of the Jain temples, Ranakpur comes under the five holy places for the Jain community.
Day 8 - Mount Abu - Udaipur
Mount Abu was named after a mythological figure, Arbud and is the only hill station in the state of Rajasthan. It is also a major pilgrimage site and mostly visited by many for its serene and picturesque climate. The prime attraction of Mount Abu is its Dilwara temples. According to some historians, the place was once visited by Lord Mahavira, the 24th Jain Tirthankara.
After paying a visit to the Dilwara temples, we come back and rest at the hotel at night.


Day 9 - Udaipur
In ancient times, Udaipur was the capital city of Mewar Kingdom. It is also known as the 'Jewel of Mewar'. The Pichola Lake is the major highlight of Udaipur city. It is an artificial lake created in the year 1362 and was named after the village Picholi. A boat ride on the Pichola Lake is the best way to make your trip enjoyable and memorable. Udaipur is also called as the 'City of Lakes' as it is home to a number of charming lakes.
Next, we will visit to Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki Bari which is a Queen's resort for the maids of honor. Do not forget to tour the Fatehsagar Lake, another beautiful lake in Udaipur. With a boat ride on Lake Pichola in the evening, we will rest at the hotel room at night.


Day 10 - Udaipur - Chittorgarh
Next day, we head to Chittorgarh, a city endowed with charm and elegance. Chittorgarh is one of the places of Rajasthan, known for its age-old glory and rich cultural heritage. After a brief sightseeing, we settle at the hotel for an overnight stay.


Day 11 - Chittorgarh-Ranthambore
After a delicious morning breakfast at the hotel, we drive for Ranthambore. We will first pay a visit to the Ranthambore tiger sanctuary which is considered to be one of the largest tiger reserves in the country. The park was made a part of the project tiger in the year 1973 and posses an important geological feature called the 'Great Boundary Fault'.
The Ranthambore fort is the major highlight among tourists. The Chauhan rulers built the fort in the 10th century and it is considered to be one of the oldest forts of the state. After visiting the famous fort, we return back to the hotel in the evening.

Day 12 - Ranthambore - Jaipur
We take a visit to the Ranthambore tiger reserves early in the morning which is the largest in India. In the afternoon, we will spend most of our time visiting the Ranthambore fort and the nearby temples of Ranthambore. The art and architecture of this oldest fort is simply marvelous and make you mesmerized. Built in the 10th century by the Chauhan rulers, the fort stands tall as the epitome of glory of the state of Rajasthan. After the lunch session at the hotel, we head to Jaipur. We will rest at hotel or resort at night.


Day 13 - Jaipur - Fathpursikari- Agra
Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan and also known as the 'Pink City'. First we will visit the Amber fort. It is a famous fort of Jaipur and depicts a fine combination of Mughal and Rajput architecture. The City Palace is also one of the 'Must See' places of Jaipur city. The palace is carved with beautiful architecture and colorful paintings. The walls of the palace adorn enchanting motifs which look very attractive and splendid. The royal family of Jaipur still resides at the city palace which serves as their traditional residence from the age old period.
We pay a visit to the Jantar Mantar, which is the biggest stone astronomical observatory in the world. It is located opposite to the city palace and visited by lot many tourists. We also visit the Jagmandir Temple, Jai Mahal and Kali Temple. We drive to Agra in the afternoon. On the way, we tour to Fatehpursikri. It was once a Mughal city which is now abandoned.

Day 14 - Agra-Delhi
Next morning, we visit the Taj Mahal. It was built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Arjumand Bano Begum, better known as Mumtaz Mahal.
Next we visit the Agra Fort. The Agra Fort is one of the most visited places in Agra City and declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You can shop at the local markets in Agra and take something unique with you in memory of the Agra tour. After the shopping, we proceed to Delhi and settle at hotel at night.


Day 15 - Delhi
We will take a day out and visit the Parliament, the President's House, the Old Delhi as well as the New. The major sightseeing includes Qutub Minar, India Gate and Humayun's Tomb. After a daylong tour to various places in Delhi, we head to the Delhi airport for the flight back home.
